Top 10 Country Songs 1. Lauren Alaina Road Less Travelled 2. Runaway June Lipstick 3. Carrie Underwood Church Bells 4. Thompson Square You Make It Look So Good 5. Cassadee Pope Summer 6. Maddie & Tae Sierra 7. Tim McGraw Humble and Kind 8. Dierks Bentley Long Trip Alone 9. Eric Church Record Year 10. Brad Paisley & Demi Lovato Without A Fight Also .indulgecountry if its not too much to ask, do you think you could for future reference for the Top 10 played do a non country section, since this thread is in the Country Forum. So I need to weed out the non-country things from my list to make you happy but you can't even put quotation marks around song titles and something in between the artist and the title? Not only that, tim included the "country greats" of Florence + The Machine and Gregory Alan Isakov in his list, so this is especially hilarious. Promptly get off your high horse, please.

I do all my posts mobile so I can't exactly highlight stuff, just forget I said anything. Sorry if it appears that I was on my high horse ok if it makes you feel better I'll delete my post entirely. Edit: There I deleted the post, so just forget I said anything and let's just move on. I just when looking at this thread I figured that since it was in the Country Forum it'd be exclusively country songs. If it came off I was on my high horse that wasn't my intentions at all.

Previously I had been separating any non-country artists, but for this month I included my full top 10 without any such edits. The lines really start to blur with such artists as The Lumineers and Gegory Alan Isakov (as an example from my list), and therefore I just left it as is this month. When I started this thread earlier this year there were no ground rules set per se; I actually enjoy seeing what other pulsers listen to outside of the country format so I see nothing wrong with including a comprehensive top 10 list of your most played songs/artists without having to edit it. I for one was left shocked that .indulgecountry didn't have any Justin Bieber in his list this month

I guess my problem is since this is in the Country Forum I'd figire it'd either be A) all country music or B) In a like an all gender forum. I'm sorry for causing a stir about this, I was just always confused since this is in the Country Forum. Sorry if I got anybody po today.

How does everybody know what their most played songs were for a given time? iTunes keeps a running total since the day I've downloaded a song, but I don't know how to specifically list the songs I listened to the most in one month, without guessing at least.

I'm in a similar boat. I'd love to participate in these threads, but have no idea now.

I don't know if this is what tim does as well, but a lot of members on this forum use a website called www.last.fm/ to keep track of their plays. You basically sign up for an account and can sync it up to your music players (iTunes, Windows Media, w/e) and it keeps track of those plays so you know how many times you play a song/artist/album and you can sort them by months and years and such for the purposes of threads like this one. And if that doesn't make sense, you can look at my profile for an example: www.last.fm/user/induldgecountry

Oh, yeah! I totally forgot about Last.FM. I have an account, but stopped using it last fall when the major update happened and I lost a bunch of my scrobbles. Maybe if things are more stable now I'll start using it again.

Maybe if things are more stable now I'll start using it again. My problem is that is doesn't scrobble my offline spotify plays so it's not really accurate. I'm sure my top 10 would consist mostly of songs from Miley's Dead Petz, Life of deleted, Good Kid Maad City and probably Ariana's new album.

Alright, I have created a Last.fm account and managed to get it synced up with my iPod, iTunes, and Spotify, so I will be participating in the July thread next month If anyone wants to find me and follow me, my username is bboat11 (shocking, I know)! (I still haven't figured out how to search for people yet...)

Jk..jk ;) But in all seriousness...I think it was trebor who introduced it to me last year and I've been using it ever since...only wish I had discovered it sooner. I would love to get more fellow pulsers scrobbling and posting their top ten lists!

Interesting.... When I play music from Spotify on a desktop computer it scrobbles my plays but when I do it from the app those plays don't show up. My list may be a tad inaccurate lol I recommend using Spotify through the website. For some reason, the desktop app is extremely slow. Always has been for me and I have no idea why. Website works perfectly though.
