I like the song. It has grit and Badu sounds so beautiful. Its a moody song that feeds the soul for me. It doesn't feel like you're listening to a song more like poetry and spoken word. "The bittersweet song features Nasir tapping into his poetic roots as he spits some sobering bars that illustrates the spirit of the upcoming film, The Land, which he’s the executive producer of. Erykah Badu’s heart wrenching vocals beautifully illustrates the dark and tragic surroundings of Cleveland, Ohio, the setting of the movie, across the tear jerking violin. Starring Badu herself, the film is about a group of young Cleveland skateborders who aspires to travel to California and turn pro, but unfortunately are caught up in illegal activities. The soundtrack will be out this Friday (July 29)" www.vibe.com/2016/07/nas-erykah-badu-this-bitter-land/?utm_source=sc-tw&utm_medium=ref&utm_campaign=nas
