The Alessia Cara collaboration on JoJo's Mad Love is titled "I Can Only," according to Billboard's preview.

YES!!! I guess it now makes more sense as to why she appeared in Alessia's video for Scars. I hope Jojo collabs with Nick, I feel like it'd be a great match.

JoJo needs to only collaborate with current hitmakers or promising upstarts, not has-beens/never weres.

I didn't know I needed this collaboration until I saw it listed as a track on Mad Love.. Not out yet, but damn, I'm already hyped for it!

JoJo is vicious...picking a singing partner that she can do laps around without even trying.

JoJo is vicious...picking a singing partner that she can do laps around without even trying. Right. I like Alessia, but this should be interesting. I'm kind of hoping for "Here" sound with this one.

I wanted to be annoyed with you for dragging Alessia (who seems like a perfectly pleasant young vocalist to me!) a second time in this thread, but really, are there that many collaborative partners for whom we couldn't say this about JoJo?

I have no problem with perfectly pleasant vocalists. I just want JoJo to collaborate with someone on her level, preferably a male vocalist like Usher.

I've been wanting a JoJo/Demi Lovato or JoJo/Jordin Sparks collab for a long time now. As far as male artists go, Usher would be a decent fit, but I feel like a JoJo/Miguel duet would slay everyone's souls. The Weeknd could be great as well.

Demi would ATTEMPT to outsing JoJo but their tones are so different and I feel that in a duet, the partners should at least both have nice, pleasing tones. When one of them can sound strident, harsh, and guttural at times, it just doesn't work. Jordin and JoJo would be interesting and could work. JoJo and Miguel...I definitely am here for.

It's a decent pop song. It's on the album sticker, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the next single. It definitely sounds aimed at radio, but it's a waste if radio won't support her.

This is not bad and she and Alessia actually sound pretty good together. I kinda hate that there is only a censored version for it, especially when there is cursing elsewhere on the album.
Edit: One of my favorites on the album now. JAMMMM.

I actually find it cute that this one is censored. It plays on the fact that Alessia is much younger than JoJo, and JoJo respects that by having a pause where she would say "fuck." I love that when Alessia sings the chorus, she says "love" where JoJo would have said "fuck." I kind of tie it into this idea that Alessia is the "next" JoJo: both young females with strong r&b roots (and whose debut singles were big hits). I could totally see JoJo purposely doing that because she sees a lot of her younger self in Alessia and this song is like mature JoJo meets young JoJo (Alessia).
I do like the song, but it's definitely not the best. I could see it working as a future single, though. Rooting for "Scars to Your Beautiful" to do well because the better it does, the more likely radio will pick this up if released as a single. (And, obviously, same goes for "F**k Apologies.")

I love that when Alessia sings the chorus, she says "love" where JoJo would have said "f**k." That's actually one of the few lines they both say. Here's their chorus comparison: Drink-Do Say-Say Think-Think Love-Love Smoke-Look F**k-Be

Probably acoustics. She sounds incredible, as usual. She is such a seasoned vocalist who's leagues ahead of her peers, in that aspect, anyway. I really can't wait until she makes her dream album.

This quickly became one of my favorite tracks of 2016. I need them to make this a single, I think there is a small chance she could get a moderate hit with this.

Catchy song and I like the beat, plus the vocals from both sound great. But seriously, it being censored sorta kills the vibe. The pauses just sound so awkward. The Alessia being younger JoJo interpretation doesn't even work since Alesia is like 20. If anything, it comes across as pretty condescending.

I kinda wish this had a shot at being released as a single after Alessia Cara's "Stay" dies down.
