Lionel Richie's "Hello" (1984) and Adele's "Hello" (2016) both charted at the same time as Prince's "When Doves Cry". Lol! That is hilarious to figure that out. I think this thread is very funny. Good job all!

In both instances when a Christmas song went to #1, the Louisiana State University (LSU) football team had an undefeated, National Championship season: In 1958, LSU football finished 11-0 and won the National Championship, when "The Chipmunk Song" was #1. In 2019, LSU football finished 15-0 and won the College Football Playoff National Championship, when "All I Want For Christmas Is You" was #1. Thatโs amazing.

Only Human and Sucker are back to back in the Hot 100, but what's remarkable is their number of weeks charted: 33 and 44.

Both songs aren't charting yet but both 'No Time to Die' and 'To Die For' were released on the same day.

In the 1980s, the band Asia had four top 40 hits. In 1991, three of their song titles were used for completely different songs (Heat Of The Moment, Only Time Will Tell, Don't Cry).

The Beatles version of "Twist and Shout" charted during the final Masters wins of golf legends Arnold Palmer (1964) and Jack Nicklaus (1986).

Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" peaked at #7 on the UK Singles Chart in 1981, and 38 years later, Dua Lipa's "Physical" has reached a new peak at #7 on the UK Singles chart (It could get higher, but I just find this fascinating).

Another chart coincidence:
"I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred spent three consecutive weeks at #1 in 1992 ...In 2017, Taylor Swift sampled the song with "Look What You Made Me Do" which also ended up spending three consecutive weeks at #1...
...I don't know If y'all would count that as a coincidence, but two songs spending the exact same amount of weeks at #1 that is basically a copy of the original is kind of one I guess.

I found this coincidence really cool. All the songs in the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 that ended in #10 since 2013 are all re-entries the following year. 2013: Katy Perry - Roar (#46 in 2014) 2014: Sam Smith - Stay With Me (#58 in 2015) 2015: The Weeknd - The Hills (#32 in 2016) 2016: The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey - Closer (TBD) All of them except for Stay With Me became #1 during the Fall Season (Roar and Closer became #1 during September, while The Hills became #1 during October.) The trend stopped at 2017 when Post Malone/Quavo's "Congratulations" finished at #10. Returned in 2018 with Maroon 5/Cardi B's "Girls Like You" (#22 in 2019) Then a non re-entry notched #10 last year in Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" (although interesting to point that #10 was close to placing a reentry in Travis Scott's "SICKO MODE" being #42 in 2018)

"Blinding Lights" officially hits #1 this Saturday April4. It is the "official theme song'" for this year's Wrestlemania, which will take place starting Saturday April 4. First time Wrestlemania has ever partially taken place on a Saturday.
