Last week, "GIRL LIKE ME" by the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira debuted at #87 on the Hot 100.
This week, it left the charts, and another "Girl Like Me" debuted (at #97) - a much better song by Jazmine Sullivan featuring H.E.R.
(it's a shame their debut positions were off by 10 spots, because this coincidence could have been even better)

This week’s Hot 100 has 2 collabs directly next to each other that have the words “best friend” in the title.
#39 Best Friend - Saweetie ft. Doja Cat #40 My Ex’s Best Friend - Machine Gun Kelly ft. blackbear

Prince's 1999 first charted in 1982, when it was released as a single. It charted again 17 years later (in 1999), and a third time 17 years after that (following his death in 2016).

Nick Lowe's "Cruel To Be Kind" peaked at #12 in the US, UK, Canada, and New Zealand charts in 1979.

WAP charted for the same number of weeks as its placement number on the 2020 Year-End (24).

Exactly 20 years ago today (February 10, 2001) Shaggy's It Wasn't Me was #1 on the Hot 100, which was of course just featured in the Cheetos Super Bowl commerical (with Shaggy himself appearing!).

I always found it amusing that both the spring of 1983 and the spring of 1993 saw big hits by Duran Duran and Boy George/Culture Club, both artists who were absent for quite awhile prior to 1993.

The Supremes had 2 #1 hits in fall 1966. Both titles began with the word You and went to #1 again as remakes in the 1980s (Kim Wilde's version of "You Keep Me Hanging On" went to #1 in 1987 and Phil Collins's version of "You Can't Hurry Love" went to #1 in 1989).

In 1983, the Hot 100 saw consecutive #1 songs whose titles reference continents -- Down Under (Australia) followed by Africa.
More recently, we have hits titled "Head & Heart" and "My Head & My Heart" charting around the same time.

Not really a funny coincidence, more of dark humor I think. Following the events of 9/11 in 2001, I'm Real (Murder Remix) by JLo and Ja Rule and Fallin by Alicia Keys keep on switching on the top spot.

Both Truth Hurts by Lizzo and ROCKSTAR by DaBaby ft. Roddy Ricch peaked at #1 for 7 non-consecutive weeks, with their runs at the top interrupted by other songs debuting at #1, and charted for 42 weeks.

On February 7, 2021, greatness came together on the same field in Tampa Bay, as Blinding Lights and Tom Brady both had MVP performances in Super Bowl LV. Arguably the greatest song in Billboard's history and the greatest quarterback in NFL history can be linked by the number 199: Blinding Lights spent 199 days on top of the kWorb radio chart, while Tom Brady was drafted with the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.

Both the #4 and #5 song this week on the Billboard Country Airplay chart name-drop the song “Dixieland Delight” by Alabama. The two songs are “What’s Your Country Song” by Thomas Rhett (#4) and “Good Time” by Niko Moon (#5).

Here's one I heard mentioned on an online radio show. I'm surprised I never picked up on this myself.
In 1986, the group Nu Shooz had their only two Billboard top 40 hits with I Can't Wait and Point Of No Return. Another song called I Can't Wait charted at the same time and another song called Point Of No Return would chart a year later.
