Sweater Weather and Dreams are back to back at #97 and #98 in the Global 200. Both are songs that have gotten a second wind due to TikTok.

Ed Sheeran having the biggest song for consecutive years in writing credits, Love Yourself in 2016 and Shape Of You in 2017. And if you include the surrounding years of 2015 and 2018, Ed appeared as a co-writer in either of the top 2 singles of the year for 4 years straight.

2 groups made a cover of the song "Beggin" which is originally from Frankie Valli from the 60s. Madcon and Maneskin.
Both are only known for that song and are 1 hit wonders, especially in USA.
Both group names start with an M and end with an N.

The Drake song "TSU" stands for Texas Southern University, and this week on the Hot 100 it's in between DOLLA SIGN SLIME and Thot Shit, two songs that feature TSU alum Megan Thee Stallion.

As mentioned in the October 9th Billboard Hot 100 thread by kindofbiased and Groovy, both Coldplay and Jason Derulo had #1s in 2000s and 2010s, but not the 2010s with the latter being possible because of BTS But also, their highest peaking song in the 2010s peaked at #3 (Talk Dirty at 2014 for Derulo and Something Just Like This at 2017 for Coldplay)

Following current predictions, it seems the 2000 and 2021 Year-End charts will have a few things in common:
- one artist who had an immensely successful (and critically acclaimed) era the year prior has two songs in the top 3 (Santana and The Weeknd) - one of their songs is among the top 5 biggest Billboard hits of all time ("Smooth" and "Blinding Lights") - however, it was a female artist who took the top spot for both years (Faith Hill and Dua Lipa) - both women had their songs only peaking at #2, but showed the importance of longevity and stability ("Breathe" and "Levitating")

For the past two weeks, the number one song on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart has been titled "Survivor," and they are two different songs by two different artists.

Adele joined this week the list of British-born solo artists with 5 or more #1s on the Hot 100 thanks to Easy on Me. Another artist on that list, Phil Collins has a #2 peaking song (it would have been funnier had it reached #1) Easy Lover. Regardless, these are the two highest peaking songs on the Hot 100 by British-born solo artists.
That's on top of another notable coincidence that the Hot 100 top 10 article mentioned:
'Chart-watcher Paul Nelson of Oakland, Calif., emailed noting the connection between Adele's "Easy on Me" and the Commodores' "Easy," after she and the group's former lead singer Lionel Richie each topped the Hot 100 with songs titled "Hello."'

The new Stromae song Sante is charting simultaneously with OUT OUT, a song that samples Stromae's biggest hit Alors On Danse, on both the Canadian Hot 100 and the Hot Dance/EDM Charts this week.
On a similar topic, Better Days and Hurricane are charting directly next to each other in almost the exact same place on both the US Hot 100 (BD #57, Hurricane #58) and Canadian Hot 100 (BD #58, Hurricane #59).

Future and Rick Ross both helped 2 different One Hit Wonders get hits in 2013. Ace Hood with Bugatti and Rocko with UOENO. Both of them feature Future and Rick Ross and those 2 songs made the 2013 year end list and are the only hits from them.

This reminds me of when Lil Yachty also helped 2 different one hit wonders in 2017 with 2 different songs. DRAM and Kyle have still remained OHW onto this day. Itโs even more funnier when you take in that these songs are Yachtyโs only top 10 hits as heโs had none prior or since then and he also escaped OHW status this way.
