David Guetta has four songs as a lead artist placed consecutively on the 2018 Year-End Hot Dance/Electronic Songs list. What makes this even more shocking is that he would've had five if This Feeling was wasn't in between one of the songs.

Leo โ: If we listed adjacent chart-positions of acts that have been compared, the list would get very long very quickly.

Since the 2016 YE, the #77 position has been placing songs that are re-entries come the following year's YE:
2016: Ariana Grande f/ Nicki Minaj - Side To Side (#43 in 2017) 2017: Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes (#49 in 2018) 2018: Benny Blanco, Halsey, Khalid - Eastside (Expected)
Not to mention that 2015 YE's #77 is a re-entry (Tove Lo's Habits)

The peaks of the songs that ended at #32 in the Billboard YE Hot 100 of 2016-2018 are quite the pattern:
2016: The Weeknd - The Hills (#1 - peak made in 2015) 2017: Niall Horan - Slow Hands (#11) 2018: Dan + Shay - Tequila (#21)

iHype.: Two songs, presumably different, with the same title.
Happy now?

Taylor Swift's #13 Song Peaks
All of Taylor's Albums, except 1989, she had a song that peaked at #13.
Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar Fearless - White Horse Speak Now - Ours Red - State of Grace 1989 - N/A reputation - Gorgeous

Since the movie Glass is coming out today, I thought I'd add this utterly unrelated info.
The only #1 song titles ending in "Glass" are Heart of Glass by Blondie, and Raise Your Glass by P!nk.
Both acts are named after the singer's hair color.

50 years ago this week, "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone knocked "Crimson and Clover" by Tommy James and the Shondells out of number one. About 13 years later, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts remade both and took each back to the Top 40.

I have a question, does anyone know why the song Get Back by the Beatles with Billy Preston peaked at #1 for 5 weeks and after its 12th week just vanished? This was in 1969 so must have been some sort of rule right? thanks :)

Boys Like Girls - Love Drunk (peak #22) 2009 Boys Like Girls with Taylor Swift - Two Is Better Than One (peak #18) 2010 Both got to #72 on their respective Year-Ends, sadly their other top 40 single ruined the symmetry and got to #77 on the Year-End.

Two weeks after the song's chart debut it hit No. 1, where it stayed for five weeks. Maybe radio moved on. Charts were weird and not as accurate back then.
