I find it funny that "Knock You Down" and "Down" both charted next to each other (7-8) on 8/29/2009

This has more to do with sales than the chart itself, but both "Fight Song" and "Stand By You" have gone Platten-um. There's also the fact that "Stand By You" sounds like a Christian song despite the fact that Platten is Jewish.

How about these examples of the name game?
Nelly and Nelly Furtado had their debut hits within a few months of each other. Lloyd and Lloyd Banks hit the top 40 around the same time.
In either case, name one other artist in the last 40 years with that first name?

I was wishing for 7 Years& ITAPII to drop out together so that way they debuted the same week, skyrocketed up the charts at the same time, both got blocked& drop out the same week but that didn't happen :(

Here is another coincidence. Last year both Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas had a Number 7 and a Number 13 peaking song. Has this ever happened before with any other artists and songs before?
If I am not mistaken, I think Chains and One Last Time were also charting right next to each other for like 7 weeks in a row, and on Year End 2015 Chains was 68 while One Last Time was 67.

And another one.
Nelly has 4 number 1 peaking songs, Hot In Herre, Dilemma, Shake Ya Tailfeather, Grillz, and 4 number 3 peaking songs, Ride Wit Me, Air Forces One, Over and Over, Just a Dream, but has ZERO number 2 peaking songs.

Funkytown, Pseudo Echo's only top 40 hit, is a cover of Lipps Inc.'s only top 40 hit.

Starving broke into the top 20 the day before Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, where people fast. "I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you" was a very fitting lyric tonight.
EDIT: Also Hailee Steinfeld is Jewish.

Both Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez debuted with a #1 single in 1999. Furthermore, both artists produced three subsequent #1 hits. Finally, the two artists later came through in 2011 after a hit drought to produce a #3 hit inspired by the club anthem. "Till The World Ends" and "On The Floor" even have a similar song structure.

André 3000 and Big Boi each have a solo top 40 hit as a featured artist that starts with "G" and ends in "-ight".

How about the two different songs entitled "Love Song" charting together in 1989?
Or the presence of "Lover Boy" and "Lover Girl" at the same time 1985?

"Sorry" by Justin Bieber and "Sorry" by Beyonce charted together in 2016.
"Animals" by Martin Garrix and "Animals" by Maroon 5 didn't chart together, but both were on the 2014 YE.

This one is a future coincidence. What do you mean by Justin bieber was year end 33 in 2015 and has a high chance to be year end 33 in 2016 too. I honestly hope it does. Has this ever happened before?

There is a chart coincidence (mostly on the Hot 100) that tends to happen sometimes where a song's current position, last week position, peak, and weeks on chart number are the exact same. Ed Sheeran's "Don't" did it, its stats were 17/17/17/17. He then did it again with "Photograph" which had 15/15/15/15. "Thinking Out Loud" also did it before... but with not the exact same numbers for all 4, but it did have similar numbers... 2/2/2/22. So basically, Ed Sheeran is the master at this, lol. Demi Lovato's "Cool For The Summer" also did it with 11/11/11/11. Oh, and gnash's "i hate u, i love u" (feat. olivia o'brien) almost did it this past week, but fell to #23 so it was 23/22/22/22. (And those are just the past couple years. I'm sure there are more. I'm also sure there are some from the past couple years that I missed.) Aminé's "Caroline" did this on this week's Hot 100 chart with 12/12/12/12.

With Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha still on the Hot 100 with "In The Name Of Love" I'm reminded of an odd chart coincidence from the 80s: On the October 27, 1984 Hot 100 Ralph MacDonald and Bill Withers were at #98 with "In The Name Of Love". One notch higher at #97 was Naked Eyes with "(What) In The Name Of Love". Debuting that week at #85? U2's "(Pride) In The Name Of Love". That's three completely different songs titled "In The Name Of Love" on the Hot 100 in the same week, with two of them back to back!

2000s Decade End Charts: Yeah! - #2 Song of 2000s Confessions - #2 Album of 2000s Usher - #2 Artist of 2000s
Usher's 'My Way' singles on Hot 100: You Make Me Wanna... - #2 Nice & Slow - #1 My Way - #2
In terms of biggest hits overall on Hot 100: You Make Me Wanna (#2) > My Way (#2) > Nice & Slow (#1)
You Make Me Wanna... was also blocked by Candle in the Wind, the biggest selling single of 1997 (and #1 on 1997 Year-End). My Way was blocked by The Boy is Mine, the biggest selling single of 1998 (and #2 on 1998 Year-End).
He also has an unlucky #2 history on Pop Radio: #2 - DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love #2 - OMG #2 - Love in this Club #2 - Caught Up #2 - Burn (Only 1 #1 to date on Pop Radio)

Mariah Carey had 5 consecutive number #1 singles, all which debuted in the top 2 - 3 at #1, 2 at #2. Those 3 #1 debut songs were the 2nd, 4th and 6th to ever accomplish it.
I also find interesting that out of the 11 songs with most weeks on the chart, only 2 spent at least 1 week at #1. The 2 songs with most weeks on the chart dropped out in the same year too.
