I'm still upset they didn't include that on her Greatest Hits album ten years ago. I was still buying cd's at the time and like GH cd's. I think this was why I never ended up getting it... "Most Girls" is my favorite Pink song. I got it because of the new songs (and because the only other Pink albums I owned by then were I'm Not Dead and Funhouse. I've gotten every one since) but was surprised to notice it was missing. The compilation heavily favoured both I'm Not Dead and Funhouse, which make up half of the tracklisting. The DVD that came with the deluxe has all of her videos up to that point though. I also found it a bit funny that Lady Marmalade wasn't included on hers even though Christina put it on hers. Oddly enough, both situations make sense to me.

I’d kill for another R&B track from her just for kicks.

Most Girls was my least favourite single from her that era. I was all about You Make Me Sick and There You Go. Actually YMMS made me finally buy the album. Performing at the Country Music Awards next month! Hopefully that’ll kick start the radio play on Country radio. I hope Chris is more in to the performance than he has been.

This is a good article about Pi!nk: www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/8541474/pink-billboard-cover-story-interview-2019?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR1dqLDlKvMHO-o8R6rLQDniMjGpg19sLnWUzEvOEy0dUP1d16XoRsN4HqYThere will definitely be many more albums: P!nk says she owes RCA two more on her contract and hopes to re-sign with the label afterward. While P!nk recorded Hurts 2B Human, she also linked up with singer-songwriter Dallas Green -- who records under the name City and Colour and with whom she has a side project called You+Me -- and wrote several songs for their next, still unfinished release. But after that? “I always said I was going to go out on top, so maybe this it.” She lets the thought of touring retirement hang in the air for a long moment. “But then you look at Bette Midler, and you’re like, ‘She’s having so much fun, maybe I’ll never quit!’ ” She lets out a deep, staccato laugh. “I’ve never had a plan. This was a dream that got away from me. I’ll do whatever. I’ll open for Justin Timberlake again, I don’t give a shit.”

She looks sensational on that Billboard shoot. The interview is even better.
She also finished on Billboard's top 20 artists of the decade for the second time. Only her, Rihanna and Eminem doing it.

Yeah, she was #13 in the 00's and #18 in the 10's. Only Eminem and Rihanna placed in both top 20s in the 2 decades.

P!nk's "Love Me Anyway" (feat. Chris Stapleton) will serve as her 3rd official single from 'Hurts 2B Human' in the US. The song will impact Adult Pop Radio on November 18th. t.co/CrVrR3U8EC

Smart move. I see it being a big AC smash. Also, did anyone see her perform at the F1 Race in Austin over the weekend. I wanted to go but was lazy LOL.

Hopefully a country push comes as well. I actually heard it played on one of our local country stations a few days ago! Would love a pop push as well, but clearly her team has once again abandoned pop altogether way too early into the album campaign. Ugh...

How would a 40 year old pop star from the late 90s/early 2000s get a song pushed, a sleepy ballad at that, on pop with a country singer. I just don’t see how that’s possible.
Her label and team doesn’t want her to have flops, yes it sucks but they care about her career and stats. I’m sad about it, but I’d rather them play to her format then to keep seeing songs stall or doa.

The fact that "Can We Pretend" and "The Bones"'s #8 and #10 peaks there are the highest peaks for any Hot AC only track speaks volumes on that fact. It's also not like they can't push songs to pop AND still make Hot AC her main focus.

It's also not like they can't push songs to pop AND still make Hot AC her main focus. right. But her team won’t push songs on pop if they’re just going to fizzle out quickly. They’d rather her stay with the hits she’s had and focus on other things. Hot AC #11s peaks is much better than hot Ac #11 peaks with a flop on CHR tied to it. If she stops now, then she only has a few pop flops; if she continues, it just lessens what she has already. For example, people will probably crucify me, but Madonna should have stopped a while ago, imo. Or released music that works for her ala Confessions. But her aged vocals also hinder her work, imo. But she keeps going the pop route, which IMO is tainting what she’s already done. Leave on a high note. Which is what P!nk is trying to do. I don’t want her to be old and still trying to push pop and continue to flop. Some artists just have to stop trying to be super relevant after a while and focus on what’s working for them. I.E her live show, stellar albums, and hot ac hits.

We’ve had enough female artists have success in their 40s on pop that I don’t feel pink should stop sending songs to the format. Over the last 15 years I think we’ve seen that once you hit 50 you really aren’t going to be getting a pop hit, but in your 40s you still have a chance, and I’d think pink would be one of the artists most qualified to do so

Not going to happen with Love Me Anyway, that’s for sure. Maybe if it’s some amazing upbeat track. But still, her time is running out on pop. I’ll eat my words if she ever gets another top 10 hit.
Out of curiosity, who in their 40s that’s been around for 20 years is still getting hits on pop?

Out of curiosity, who in their 40s that’s been around for 20 years is still getting hits on pop? Look no further than the newest top 10 entry. Adam Levine is 40 and Maroon 5 has been around for 15 years. I realize 15 isn't 20, but in the pop world there isn't any difference past like year 12/13. Madonna also received a top 10 hit at age 50 nearly 30 years into her career and continued to have moderate success at pop up until her team stopped pushing singles there. I mean, you're acting like "Walk Me Home" was a colossal flop on pop. It wasn't. It lingered just outside the top 20 for quite a while. P!nk also slays in album sales and touring so it's not like her resources are so limited that active pop pushes are going to significantly take away from any Hot AC pushes. Really, there's zero harm in attempting to keep pushing for pop hits, so why so adamant about not doing it? Either she'll continue with diminishing returns which won't harm anything since she's clearly on the downswing of her career anyway or one or two songs stick enough to get some extra exposure to her recent music. All the while the extra pop exposure benefits her visibility on Hot AC. Literally no harm no foul here.

I’m just speaking from her teams standpoint. It’s pretty apparent they’re not going to risk flops. So keep wanting pop singles, it’s not going to happen.
“Walk Me Home” flopped on pop. Colossal flop? No, but it flopped, hence why no further singles on chr.
Maroon 5 is hard for me to compare a 40 year old female pop star to, that’s been in the game for over 20 years. Madonna did that yes, but that was long ago, and let’s be honest, P!nk isn’t Madonna. I love them both dearly, but Madonna was another level. She was the QUEEN of pop. I don’t think Madonna would have had the same success on pop after Hard Candy, but that’s just me. I just don’t see that happening for P!nk unless she actually releases something that pop would want to eat up and P!nk is so Hot AC now, I just don’t see it. But that’s just me. I guess we’ll see how her career and singles go going forward. :).
Ps - No harm no foul? Why would anyone want her to flop? So yes, there is harm; harm to her hit streak. If there was no harm no foul, they’d still be releasing songs there.

I don’t think Pink needs pop radio. She’s still a pop artist of course but she’s reaching a point of becoming a legacy artist, which means she can continue her success as a touring artist, which she will have easily for years to come. I do think if she wants pop success, it’s still attainable but probably with collaborations and being a featured artist on a few songs before her next album. I think for her own material, she’d be better off updating her sound and shifting away from trying to earn pop radio support.

I’m too tipsy to really articulate it now but a friend and I were discussing earlier how funny it is for P!nk to have such massive, legitimized success yet still seeming rather off-radar in terms of the conversation surrounding pop superstars. If that makes sense. If not, don’t mind me lol
