Lonely Girl holds up so well for me. Still one of my favourite P!nk vocal recordings nearly 20 years later. Love that track. She’d probably do it even better now live since her vocals have improved. Love that whole album, minus the title track and Respect. I’ve actually yet to love a P!nk album - which is crazy because I am an “albums” guy. Funhouse would be the closest for a home run for me, but her highs on every record always reach for new heights. What a discography in general.

Thoughts...Opinions
So, I was thinking, I’d love to ask Pulse Members what they would want for P!nk’s next album or what you would feel would be a good move or album from P!nk? Maybe some collaborations, genres you’d like her to explore, producers you’d want her to work with, etc.. Either for her next era, or at some point in her life. I’d love to see your thoughts and ideas; especially, since this isn’t a fan board, and I feel like opinions and desires will be more diverse. :)

Even if she continued to give us her brand of pop, or even experiment out like what she did with you+me, (hell, her recent verse on Keith's One Too Many was good) she'll always have consistent success, in my opinion. The girl knows what to do with her voice, now let's just give her the material to make it shine.
Personally, if I could get more songs like Capsized or Unbeliever from her, I'd be a long haul fan for sure.

She's such a powerful and talented performer. Looking forward to her next move although I didn't get into Hurts 2B Human. I guess it would be the sound of always. I don't feel it's changed much throughout the years, but I really like her anyway. She just needs to get the right songs. I forgot, does she write some of her stuff?

Is she the one that has had the best staying power (pop airplay) from the people that became famous around the year 2000? Like Justin, Britney, Christina, etc? Oh, Beyonce is still relevant (although not on pop radio anymore, right?)

She writes most of her songs and collaborates with other songwriters. I have no problem with her sound, it's very much hers. By the time P!nk's first single, "There You Go" came out, Britney, Christina, Jessica, and Destiny's Child had already managed to score Top Ten records on the Hot 100. I don't know about her positions on Pop radio but P!nk's last Top 20 hit on the Hot 100 was "What About Us" in 2017. I love her music and her attitude. Nothing but love for Alecia.

P!nk has been very successful radio wise and album wise up until I’d say, H2BH, although that still didn’t do too badly and did debut at #1 in the US, upping her tally to 3 straight #1s.

I enjoy and respect Pink but I honestly don’t think I’ve voluntarily listened to Pink in well over a year, other than an occasional Glitter in the Air (and one play of Leave Me Alone a few months ago). I found Hurts 2B Human painfully dull other than the lead single, and a huge drop from her string of albums that came before all - most of which weren’t particularly adventurous as they followed a rather strict formula, but it was a formula she owned so it mostly worked.
With that said, I don’t know what I’d want to hear from her and I guess don’t really miss having new music from her. Her pop/rock sound, which generally reliable, is kind of tired. I also wouldn’t be interested in country Pink, nor R&B Pink. I think the You+Me album was great but it isn’t one I’ve returned to in years. I do wonder whether she could pull off a solo folk album. (As in, I know she could but is it something I’d want?)
I hope she does come back soon and I’ll always check for her. I guess it’s really about whether I’d go back after the first listen.

Interesting.
Ok, cool. Thanks for your feedback, y’all! :)
PS - P!nk is on tiktok, and uploaded her first video. A video of Willow singing a snippet of an unreleased track.

^Yes! I love her on all genres, because she has that voice that fits with every genre, her chameleon like vocals kill it every time. Im with you though, I definitely have a sweet spot for her acoustic vocals. Honestly one of the BEST and EMOTIVE voices in the business.

I'd love to hear something full rock from her someday, maybe not an album per se, a 4-track EP perhaps.

I’d love an album with rock, metal, classic rock, with a bit of a pop tinge.
I’d also love another r&b album. Unless she’s able recruite Lauryn Hill, I don’t think it will happen, unfortunately.
I wish she’d do an album for the gays, like Gaga did with Chromatica. And if she promoted it with awesome performances and videos, I could see her being hot again on radio and with the GP.
This girl is capable of amazing things, which she’s already done, but I know she has some hits left under her belt...but I really feel like they’re preparing for her future - touring, hot ac and ac radio.
It would be nice though if she did an off album or two like she did with You+Me.

I know she didn't like her first album but does anyone know why? Is it because of the genre (which I believe was in the RnB realm)?

It’s not that she didn’t like, she just felt it was very controlled and structured. She wanted more control and wanted more than just r&b because her taste is so eclectic.

That’s awesome. These concert documentaries can be a bit tiresome but P!nk strikes me as someone who can carry a genuinely interesting film

Love the "so far" theme, as her GH.
