For audio/album purposes, I agree with you, but it was a lovely moment during her show every night when it came on the screen.

There seems to be an excessive amount of covers on the album and the awards speech, while a special and cool moment for a tour, is super weird to include as a track on an album.
Outside of that, though, the tracks picked seem good to me. A few old favorites with spotlights on her more recent material, which is what I'd expect given she already has a live album with her old hits heavily featured.

Super weird is subjective. To each their own, I guess. :) P!nk has always done it her way, weird or not. :) Itll probably make sense once we see the actual movie...
She also has done a lot of cover on tours, and had a few on her last live album - Highway To Hell, I Touch Myself, and Bohemian Rhapsody, so I guess it’s the “norm” for her. The speech is an interlude in a way. but yeah, it will be odd to hear all music and then hear a speech, but, in the end it’s her choice and it was important to her and her legacy.

You know you don't have to defend her for every tiny criticism someone makes involving her. Especially you already posted above something similar to me. But I guess when I say it it's not okay? Like you seem to be so personally offended by my word choice of "super weird" even though it's my opinion of something not directed at you at all.

Like you seem to be so personally offended by my word choice of "super weird" even though it's my opinion of something not directed at you at all. I don’t defend everything. I critique P!nk and her choices quite often... Also, I’m not personally offended. LoL I wrote a fair, informed response. ;) Someone said it was weird, I responded and then you defended their choice of weird, and intentionally chose “super” weird, so I decided to discuss further, because it’s not weird at all. :) (IMO anyway, and that’s what this board is about) I even gave info to support her choice because she’s done it before. And honestly, we haven’t seen the movie, maybe those are the songs from the movie. Which I mentioned. You’re right, I did discuss it above, I agreed it was slightly odd to have a speech during a live album, but again, it’s her choice, and she had it played during her tour, so it’s not shocking that she added it. People make choices all the time that we don’t agree with. Don’t be shocked since you invited conversation.

The video seems super cute, she always delivers on the visuals, but the full song is another middle-of-the-road song from her. Cute, uplifting, acoustic-guitar driven but doesn't really add much to her catalog. I pray for the day that P!nk and Kelly Clarkson are gonna start to be a bit more adventurous with their sound. Their vocal talent deserve better material. Eh, Kelly at least did take a step in a different direction with MoL. I agree re: P!nk though.

I agree with this too. I love that she's in such a happy place in her life, but I feel she's getting a little bit too comfortable with her sound. H2BH had some jems, so I know she still has it in her, but this sounds like Walk Me Home pt.2. At least the video looks like it will be cool. I wonder if we're getting her Wike Awake/Hold It Against Me video, with nods to her whole career.

It's a fine song, borders a bit on generic. But her vocals sound great.

The new song is bland as f*ck. She's stuck in a rut.

That sunshine song gets spammed on radio over here because Australian radio is obsessed with p!nk, it's cute.

Tied with Try as my favorite video from her. Really nice.
Also her voice just keeps getting better.
And I like the song, it's better than Walk Me Home at least.

She’s so real, I just love her to pieces. Good little interview and background on the documentary AND why she chose to put the covers on the live album! ;)

"All I Know (So Far)" is everything I was expecting from her, good and bad--great vocals, generic lyrics about healing and pain ("I'll be with you 'til the world blows up" isn't groundbreaking but is authentically blunt Pink so I like that refrain), and soft pop/rock instrumentation.
Sigh. Can't imagine listening to this again on purpose. Totally inoffensive but also zero bite.

P!nk has been releasing the same music since roughly 2012 and...I'm not mad at it. Anthemic pop is a rarity nowadays and I really miss it overall so I'm actually kinda glad she's still following that sound.

Setlist? Is Alecia on tour? :o The song's OK- she has a formula, for sure. As she's past her commercial heyday, it's not going to help or hurt her. "What About Us" eked out a top 10 peak at pop radio, though that may have been her last major inroad at the format.
