I enjoyed the whole thing from start to finish and, in spite of all the guests artists, it doesn’t sound like a homogenous blob of music nor a meandering clusterfuck. I’m pleased!
Currently at 72 on Metacritic, her third highest rating behind Detours and Feels Like Home. Maybe the good reviews and potentially some Grammy attention will inspire her to keep churning albums out.

I'm hoping that she'll reconsider this being her last album. Sheryl is an albums artist who can still deliver, as evidenced by this one.

I thought it kind of odd that even Sheryl Crow feels like her albums aren't digested as a single work considering her demographic skews older than what most of us would consider the streaming or even digital crowd.

It completely sounds like a blob of guests and Jams/ not fully formed songs to me. I get putting guest artists/ collaborations as a collection but to release something with little cohesiveness as your last album is odd imo. |

She performed "I Shall Believe" from her debut. More of a gospel oriented arrangement than the album version. Beautiful. |

Not really related to her last album
But few days ago I picked up The Globe Sessions album to listen.
I bought it in november in Paris and only listened to it once... I needed some chill music and wanted to get into the album more and... I really like it.
What surprised me actually was the fact that she was a real Grammy sweetheart it seems
She had one for all of her first 5 albums
All in all 9!
I was really surprised.
Anyway
