20Let It Happen Tame Impala
Peak: #1 Weeks On: 31
"Let It Happen" was a song that I knew since 2015, but I let it chart on my chart longer than I should so that it could have a higher peak. This eight-minute song is a great blend of psychedelic rock and synthpop, as was most of the album. Listen to me!

19Take It from Me KONGOS
Peak: #1 Weeks On: 23
"Take It from Me" was a great comeback from KONGOS. Even though it wasn't as good as "Come with Me Now", and even though it took a while to click with me, it's still enjoyable with its kwaito instrumentation and accordion. This was a song that should've done better on the Alternative charts. Listen to me!

18Bored to Death blink-182
Peak: #1 Weeks On: 23
"Bored to Death" was an enjoyable pop punk track from Blink-182, even though they switched frontman Tom DeLonge with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba. It debuted at No. 1 on my chart and eventually re-peaked at #4. Listen to me!

17Return to the Moon (Political Song for Didi Bloome to Sing, with Crescendo) EL VY
Peak: #1 Weeks On: 27
Matt Berninger has a distinct baritone voice that I enjoy, and with this song, it's no exception. It not a sad song like the songs off The National's Trouble Will Find Me, but the baseline here is cool. Listen to me!

16Black Honey Thrice
Peak: #1 Weeks On: 20
One of, if not the best active rock hit of the year, quality-wise. "Black Honey" isn't just a song catered to listeners to rock radio who want songs that "kick ass" because of the great post-hardcore instrumentation, but it's also a meaningful song about the consequences of greed. Songs like these are uncommon, and it's great to see a band get their biggest hit 17 years after their formation. I should check out more of their other output. Listen to me!
