Just listened to the album for the first time and wow...it's interesting. Gotta give credit where credit is due and say that the production on it is really great. Beyoncé tries some really strange things on it some which work quite well and some which really don't. It's also very different from what I normally listen to, especially since I'm not too familiar with Beyoncé. There are defeinitly some good songs though, Formation and 6 Inch go hard and I like Hold Up before I burned myself out on it. I'm not gonna go into much more depth until the songs are revealed when I'll talk more about each one but I just wanna ask why Sorry was the first pop single. Awful song IMO and isn't pop friendly at all. I probably would have gone for Hold Up first but other then that there aren't really any pop hits on the album, besides maybe a pop edit of Daddy Lessons or something.

I'm relistening to the album right now and damn, rankings are gonna be hard. There's a lot of good songs on here, I constantly rotate between loving like 3-4 songs and so far have found something really great about every song on the album (besides Sorry, fuck that song)

"Love Drought" sounds like something Kelly Rowland would've done on one of her last 2 albums. It's weird because I probably even like her more than Bey on the whole, but I wasn't really feeling that sound from Bey. Still like it tho (don't dislike anything on Lemonade tbh).
