Hey guys, I decided to do a Country Rankings of 2016. This may interest a lot of people. Top 100, for sure. And since a lot of the country posters don't venture out of the country forum, I wonder if maybe this could be moved to the country genre folder like what Daryl the Beryl did for his Alternative songs version. |

I thought of doing it in country forums first but decided to do it here cause a lot of reg DZ players would be interested probably too. If you guys prefer it in country forums then we can do move it there I guess.

I think The top 50 is better for me because I don't think I'll have time to listen to 100 songs and I'm not familiar with more than half of them.

Top 50 I think would be better personally I would know all the songs But for the country fans who do know all the songs, we'll wanna do all 100, lol. That's why I suggested this one might need to be like Daryl's Alternative game in that the turnout won't be the usual DZ players. If you like country enough to wanna do the Top 50, then I'd encourage you to try to check out more of the lower 50 songs (there's plenty of songs in the bottom 50 that I think are pretty recognizable, too, fwiw). :) |

I'd honestly prefer if we did the rankdown based on the country airplay year-end chart, (see page 6 and 8 of this pdf: www.billboard.com/files/pdfs/country_update_1212.pdf) since most of the folks at the country board follow the country airplay chart and not the Hot Country Songs chart. But if we do that, Mayday will not be on the countdown. Shall we do a poll on this? Also I agree this should be in the country board. |

Idk, I personally prefer the one I put out, but if more people want to prefer airplay then Ill change it up. Want to see other opinions and if there is more variation then I could put the poll up. Ill ask to put on country board once we decide everything first of how itll be.
EDIT: Sorry, going to keep it like this since there is already a Danger Zone for Airplay.
