Song is entitled "Burning Man" and features Post Malone. This should be interesting.

Wow that's a weird combo. I think he was going for cross format appeal but I feel like it may actually hold this back from charting some places

I think he was going for cross format appeal but I feel like it may actually hold this back from charting some places I don't really consider Post Malone that polarizing of a rapper, so I don't see him hindering potential success for Alternative. He's definitely an alternative-leaning rapper over rhythmic in my opinion. It might be an uphill battle for Active though, where Andrew has charted before. Watt and Post Malone worked together on "Feeling Whitney" (Andrew produced it) from Post Malone's debut album, which Post Malone sings over an acoustic guitar, so he might not rap on this. Though, I could see a rap fitting on this solely based on the 20 second preview.

Out now.
This is really good. Definitely Alt friendly, and could be crossover friendly if they take out the guitar solo in the bridge and switch it with another Post Malone verse. Post Malone sings on this for the most part, so I don't see his inclusion hindering any potential success for Alternative.

Picks up an Alt add this week. I assume a push will come to fruition very soon.

The add is from WBUZ in Nashville. They're one of the more active-leaning alternative stations (they also added Beartooth's "Hated" today), even though not as active-leaning as KFMA in Tuscon.

I don't like this very much. The bass and guitar solo sound good, but that's about all I like. I could see it doing okay on Active and maybe Alt and it may grow on me, but not super impressed on first listen.

Yeah I like this. I'm not sure how well this will do on alt and active, but I wouldn't mind seeing it do well. Post Malone actually doesn't sound out of place at all on this either. IMO the weakest part by far though is the chorus, it just feels lazy and sort of tacked on. I would love to see this cross over to CHR but I highly doubt that's gonna happen, they would need to tone down the bass a lot if they were gonna make that happen.

I thought Watt was a rapper, not Andrew Watt. That guy who did "Ghost in My Head"? I liked that song.

Looks like Andrew is trying to hit up the viral root...

Now I like Andrew Watts mane of hair a lot more than his music. WTF is Rudy Mancuso? One of his band members? What a lame attempt at comedy. message to Watt. Pick up your fist name. Plug in your guitar and play some damn rock n roll.

I remember when I saw Andrew Watt perform with Post Malone last year at Bonnaroo. That was pretty good so I'm not opposed to this

Looks like this will be getting its shot a year after release. This has picked up six Alternative adds in the past two weeks.

I WAS LITERALLY JUST THINKING THAT THEY SHOILD REPUSH THIS A COUPLE DAYS AGO.
I could actually see this doing something this time around given that Post Malone is argueably the biggest artist in the world right now and Watt is actually featured on a decent size pop hit too.

Just a tad bit late on the adds date, but cool to see it finally going for adds.

But the guy is having almost unparalleled success right now with several of his non singles entering the hot 100, months or even years after they came out, just because people like this guy so much. That's crazy. He also had the #10 biggest hit of 2016, a #1 hit that just fell off the top after almost 10 weeks, and another song currently in the teens despite no radio push. He's also very well known and beloved among many of my peers.

If this isn't a fluke, I could see this charting on Active eventually. Musically, it sort of fits.
Post ready to take over every radio format by 2019.
