Wow guys, one day into the submission cycle, and we already have ELEVEN people participating!

And boy do we have some crazy results so far! There are already like 5 songs that have alternated for #1 today as votes have come in... Talk about a super close race!
Also, the one that spent the most time at #1 today has suddenly plummeted down to #16 thanks to just a couple people... And it is one that looked like an early crowd favorite... Can it recover, or will a lot of people be left disappointed??

omg just looked at the 2014 year end chart and wow is it awful. Country music drastically improved each year for the past two years

I know we're just in 2015, but I would be up for doing past years of Country music (70s, 80s, 90s). Be a good way to expose people to a lot of music they have never heard...
Obviously it may lead to a lot of people listening to a lot of songs they did not know, which can be seen as either too much to ask or an opportunity for finding new music (I feel the latter, but I can see why others would be opposed.)
Obviously a bit ahead of myself here, just saying...I'd be up for it!

We may need to do a top 20 or something instead of the 100 we've been doing since people would need to listen to the vast majority of them to do their ranking. |

We would just have to be careful not to overwhelm people with too many Rankdowns. Like, be extra careful to have one year-based Rankdown going at a time or something. Edit: I would also be fine with top 100s for past years, but I could understand why we might have to condense. |

Yea I havent had time plus need to re listen to a few songs as I forgot how some of them go. All I know is that I wont be as close to others as I was in 16 rankdown. Idk how my number 1 will do honestly.

Got my list submitted and oh boy am I gonna piss quite a few people off.
Also this year in Country music overall sucked. I had a really great Top 20 but after that it started to fall apart. 2014 and 2013 just by looking at them look awful.

Perhaps this is a dead giveaway to what this song is, but one of my higher ranking songs should have a high Standard Deviation; it's either considered one of the better singles by this artist or it's disliked from what I can tell.

Just sent my list. I think that my number 1 could do a little bit worse than my number 1 from 2016 but hopefully I could be wrong and that my 1 is around same place as 2016s one. At the same time, I feel like only 1 of my top 10s could reach the actual top 10 this time. Although Im pretty sure that all my bottom songs could be out early too. Who knows. I have no idea what could win this (maybe Burning House again, who knows), and I have no idea what could be last place.

I will just say this. Some of the results might really surprise you. I will also say that our current #1 song has been very consistent. It has had a standard deviation of like 10. But when I just calculated @walker9's results it bumped the SD all the way up to like 20!  Lol! Things are getting really interesting! I can't wait to get more lists and see how things shake out!  |
