Let me come through and claim this thread that I totally didn't source from sabre14 's Twitter. ;) Lead single from Welcome Home coming Friday at 8:00 AM Eastern / 5:00 AM Pacific, per Country Aircheck.

It doesn't feel like "Castaway" has been off the charts for as long as it actually has been. Jekyll + Hyde was their first album where I actually paid attention to them, so I'm excited to hear this.

I'm intrested in hearing where Zac Brown Band go sonically since Jekyll + Hyde was a wide range of sounds and in my opinion was an overall mess (the album had gems, but other times it fell flat for me)

I'm looking forward to hearing this. I've always liked their material, and the last album was no exception.

Also, looks like a label change to Elecktra / WAR. Check the footer of the ad.

These guys are flawless to my ears, and I can't wait to see what they came up with. This title sounds really intriguing, and seems like it could be about an unique topic.

Also really hoping they go back to the rock sound they explored on the last album. "Heavy is the Head" and "Junkyard" were killer, and my two favorite tracks from the album.

Hopefully the album title indicates that they are going back to their familiar sound! Exciting.

His label released "Burning Man" by: watt, which came out two weeks ago. Their contract was with BMLG was up, so they signed elsewhere. I didn't know they were apart of John's label though.

Excited about the new single!
Even though I don't always love the stuff they put out, Zac Brown has probably my favorite male voice in contemporary country music, so I always love to see it in use! LOL

The first 2 singles from the last album were great! "Homegrown" and "Loving You Easy" are the 2 I'm referring too not "Heavy Is The Head".

BMLG/Dot really only promoted the singles. They were on Varvatos' label in collaboration with Southern Ground and Republic Records.

Since their national debut in 2008, the Zac Brown Band has released albums/singles under ten labels/imprints. They are:
1. Atlantic 2. Home Grown 3. Bigger Picture 4. Southern Ground 5. RPM 6. John Varvatos 7. Big Machine 8. Republic 9. Dot 10. Elektra
If the Zac Brown Band does top the singles chart with Elektra, they will be the first group to do so. The Glaser Brothers came close in 1981. That is when they scored their biggest hit with Lovin' Her Was Easier Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again (#2).

Please be more like "Homegrown" and less like literally everything else on Jekyll + HydeFunny, I have the exact opposite opinion. "Homegrown" had muddy production and somewhat pandering lyrics. I don't hate it (only song I outright hate in their catalog is "This Song's for You"), but if I were to rank all their singles, it'd be my second-least favorite behind "Chicken Fried".

That's the ZBB sound I love. And it's not even because the fiddle is the loudest in the mix (okay that's a factor).
They had some great tunes on J+H but the distinct ability they have to make a cohesive front-back album should not be taken for granted. I'm optimistic.

I've never been a fan of ZBB, I swear all their singles sound the same (don't hate me). I just can't really tell the difference between them when they begin sometimes. My favorites though are "Sweet Annie" and "Whatever It Is". The trailer does sound intriguing though. But the creepy look from Zac at the end makes me uncomfortable.

Dang, I really loved the music in the preview. The violin is gorgeous and the instrumentation as a whole was really great. I can't stand Zac's voice though, so that always really hurts their music for me. We shall see.

Super pumped for this return to their roots.
Been listening to their "This Is: ZBB" playlist on Spotify a lot lately.... aside from outliers like The Wind and Beautiful Drug, they have so many just really well done, easy listening, great vocal songs.
Listened to Highway 20 Ride for the first time in probably 2 years last week. Just a classic.

I love a good fiddle, but I'm really hoping it goes uptempo at some point.

I just saw last week that Zac's other band, Sir Rosevelt, signed a new record deal. Is he doing ZBB and SR stuff at the same time?

Oh man I'm so excited for this. Haven't heard ZBB sound like that since their albums from 2008 and 2010. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
