EDIT 2/15: Geometric Headdress should be #8 and win the tie-breaker (since it had a higher position for highest rank), since I made a calculation error for it's points as 39 points instead of 40. I can see why a lot of us chose Rubicon so high. That was actually a really great song. wonder if it will get single action? The 1975 album is a great choice. That was one of my submissions. I just submitted incredibly long album title for the win. Just wondering was the Judah and the Lion submission a real or a joke?  |

As with the last rankdown, you can submit your suggestions and votes for the next rankdown any time before the results date. That is why I separated the forms since some people may want to do the ranked list later and vote for what albums to rank next, and some may not want to rank the album altogether and just place their votes and suggestions for the next rankdown.

Not too surprised with the Gore results except for (L)MIRL being so low and Xenon not being the bottom. Interesting that a non-single was tops but then again they haven't announced a third single yet.
So The 1975, haven't listened to this album before but I'm really liking "Somebody Else". They're very hit and miss for me

Lordef†ones Starboy and Awaken My Love are invalid; we even did a rankdown on the former in the games board. Please refrain from suggesting albums from other genres because this is solely for albums in the alt/rock field (and electronica - e.g. Bob Moses, James Blake, Jamie xx, M83 etc.). We could do rankdowns on albums of other genres in the games board, though I don't see many doing Awaken My Love, even though I would be willing to do one since I liked the two singles from it and some of Gambino's earlier work.

Daryl the Beryl I think maybe we should slow the rollout of the album rankdown. For example, maybe show 2-3 songs a day, leading up to #1. Releasing it all at once just seemed like too much IMO.
