I wasn't sure whether to continue this thread, however I have fun doing it and I know a few other's do as well so I'll keep it going! The last thread was for November 2016 and since a lot of us listen to Christmas music in December I opted to skip a month and resume it for January 2017. For those interested in how we keep track we use a "Audioscrobbler" such as QuietScrob or NepTunes that is installed on our electronic devices (I have it on my iPhone, iPad, and my Mac) and then all of this builds a profile on our Last.fm account. It's all really quite easy so if you have any questions about it let one of us know!
There's been some confusion about this before, so just to clarify the top ten is a tabulation of the previous month and not the current month that the thread gets created (I usually try and have it up by the 1st of the month) ;)
