Random but which of Sarah Johns' two BNA Country singles do you like better? "The One In The Middle" peaked at #39 on Billboard/#43 on Mediabase in the summer of 2007. "He Hates Me" peaked at #46 on Mediabase/#47 on Billboard in March of 2008. Both are off her only major label album, Big Love In A Small Town.

I love both but I got to vote for "He Hates Me." The fiddle, melody, vocals and funny lyrics make it a jam every time I hear it.

I mean both are wonderful, but "The One In The Middle" easily takes this for me. This was my jam back in the day and I still listen to it a lot. Everything about it is perfect lol.
Did i mention though that "He Hates Me " is fantastic?

"He Hates Me," easily. Love both but the fiddle on HHM is orgasmic. I also prefer her vocal phrasing on it and the humor of the song reads a little better imo than it does on "The One in the Middle" (though that is lyrically clever in its own right and a solid jam as well).
Her debut is fantastic. Love literally every song on it except "It's Hard to Be a Girl (In a Young Man's World)."

Loved her album! Funnily enough the two singles may be two of my least favorite songs on there. I love them both still but the album tracks are great.
Voted "The One In The Middle" but it was close.
