I just want to say thank you all for participating! This was definitely my favorite tournament I have hosted so far! Actually, scratch that, this is my favorite tournament I've participated in so far. The 28 participants was outstanding, while I absolutely loved the diversity that was in this tournament. I'm happy with how the Top 2 finished considering they were both relatively unknown songs coming into this, yet, they had the gas to go all the way. It was refreshing watching a lot of the more obscure songs beating out the popular ones. Let's continue with this! I will be seeing you guys in the summertime for Summertime Madness! One last time:

Thank you everyone who voted for Loreen throughout the competition, I'm surprised it was received so strongly! :o Congratulations Cynthia for making the top 2 again; I feel a little bad for beating you in our re-match, I honestly thought it would a more even-handed vote since Mya was doing just as well especially in the later rounds. Thanks maine for hosting again, this one was a LOT of fun!

I'm kinda not surprised? When you think about the general tastes of those who vote in these tournaments, odds were very much in your favor - no shade in that comment, just that r&b and country tend to be at a disadvantage. So of course my top 3 seeds were a country song and two r&b jams I clearly have no grasp of strategy whatsoever. I'm more surprised at what made it to the end than the conclusion. I didn't expect Mya to get as far as she did (I was sure she was a goner in the Beyonce matchup, and I thought Maren and Khalid would be my best chances of reaching the final four) and I thought your Anja pick would be the last Az song standing. One day I might win one of these things lol, but for me the main goal is just getting people into a song, so if I get something as far as top 16, I feel like I'm doing all right.

YASSSS great winner!!!!!! Seriously guys, this tournament is full of diversity and surprise! There's a lot of interesting songs that I found out via this game. To name a view highlight, these are my favorites discoveries of this game. 1. Maggie Rogers - AlaskaThank you so much Daryl! Seriously this song is a soothing jam. I can lay down listening to this song and couldn't care less about anything else. Maggie has a lovely delivery and this song as a whole is a nice evening song. It's so unique and smooth. When it came to the chorus, I just close my eyes and enjoy the vibe. My jam right now. 2. badXchannels - One Car FuneralHonestly, I expected wheatsquares' picks for this game will put me to sleep like the last time and I definitely didn't expect anything much when this song's first matchup came on, especially since it's up against Maroon 5's "Cold", which I love a lot. But once the song started to build up in the pre-chorus, my mind stopped thinking and then came the chorus, this is total BANGER! Wow the electric guitar, wow the synths, wow the vocals. Just... wow. 3. Loreen - StatementsAwww our winner, Az! "Statements" is such a powerful piece of a song. The intensity throughout the song is fabulous. Loreen has a great vocals and knows how to use it into good use. The dark vibe also helps building the song. 4. Jana Burceska - Dance AloneOkay. I actually forgot who had this song since it's out on its first matchup but damn did y'all get it wrong. "Dance Alone" is a jam. I always like Robyn-esque songs and this is no difference. 5. Hifi Sean - TestifyThis song makes me soooo happy. It makes me smile along with the song. It's just a fun harmless song. Thank you Ry4n! There are other songs too but these five are the highlight of all the discoveries of the tournament imo. I'm so excited for the next tourney! Especially if it turn out similar to this one! Thank you
