Ugh, I didn't expect her to get any General field nominations, but Delicate getting nothing is sad as heck.

Sad about "Delicate"... failing to get Pop Vocal or SOTY is pretty sad. Otherwise I'm OK with it. Save for the strong sales it wasn't really the "album of the year" in any metric.

Girl had an iconic era, and got shut out. I can't even!
The Grammy's done fucked up now! #gayrioting

I could see her winning in this category.

Iconic? I feel like this era will be forgotten in favor of stronger Taylor eras in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, the closest thing to iconic was the LWYMMD video and it's been largely forgotten now.
Don't get me wrong there's some great tracks here but 1989 this wasn't.

"Delicate" was definitely deserving. I'd say pretty much everyone but Camila has a reasonable shot at winning pop album (wouldn't have thought that with Shawn but he got a general field nom so who knows?), but I'd say Ariana is the clearest frontrunner.

I would rather have seen Delicate nominated instead of Reputation, but I feel like it was unlikely she would win either. This album really suffered from lack of promotion/radio hits and the critical review was mixed. It's still a great era by anyone else's standards, but this is Taylor: fan support and great sales are expected, critical acclaim is less guaranteed.
Also, I liked parts of this album and era, but am overall happy this Grammy situation has happened - last time Red losing on the big AOTY lead her to listen to some of the critiques about that album and give us 1989 - one can only hope the lack of love for Reputation will lead to a similar creative bout.

I'd say Delicate deserved it more than reputation but considering all the albums nominated in the pop field, I think it fits. Being nominated for Pop album is still great considering how divisive this era was... but they are definitely sending her a message with the shutout in the main categories.

I think her tour was the most inconic thing about this era (the #’s she put up were anazing) but that won’t get you nominated for Gramny’s.

I’m surprised delicate didn’t get in to pop vocal, and surprised end game didn’t get pop collab (even though I hate it) but otherwise I’m not surprised at any other lack of noms. Reputation feels worthy of being in pop album but not really album of the year. She ll prob make it next time

Were we really expecting a lot of nominations though? I mean this hasn't exactly been a blockbuster performer (single wise and in relation to her last efforts that were largely recognized by the Grammys). I'm not terribly shocked but some of the nominations they snubbed her to make room for are ... interesting. Also to anyone saying that this is going to influence TS7 the way Red losing influenced 1989, probably not that much. She expected Red to win (I think usually she's not too presumptuous but everyone told her it would win), and it does seem like 1989 was mostly made after Red's loss. But it seems like a lot of work has been made for TS7 and she wasn't expecting much from reputation anyways.

I'm not in love with these titles but I'd literally take anything from her right now. Even a song called "Moist".

Supposedly a man regestired these songs, not Taylor and this has happened in the past? Also, why is "Broken Heart" listed, yet not pictured and it would be the seventh, not sixth song?

I just realized how great So It Goes actually is. It’s one of those songs where you’d never get sick of!

It’s horrendous and I’m a Stan. Such a bad song. So flat. Couldn’t disagree more. So it Goes has such a dark, sullen, and somewhat ethereal atmosphere that compliments the lyrics about being under the spell of uncontrollable attraction. I think it’s a divine song.

I didn’t appreciate “So It Goes” until she sang the acoustic version at my concert. Granted, I was low key mad it wasn’t “DWOHT” but I eventually enjoyed that performance.

Try listening to the song again guys, it may be a nonevent in regards to all the other songs from reputation, but that doesn’t mean it’s a beautiful song. The other ones just seem to have more reasons to be on the album, but so it goes by itself is very interesting.
