I enjoyed this album for what it’s worth. The fact that she still outsold everyone during her “flop era” is a testament to her stardom. I really hope that she continues to experiment with her sound.

Such a bad song. So flat. Imagine thinking this about the best song on the album Ok subjective opinions aside for a sec - you genuinely think So It Goes is the best song from this album?

Spotify streams now vs August averaged out to what they'd be on a weekly basis, as well as total streams and playlist reach (songs with 25m+ streams). This includes demos, remixes and acoustic versions.

The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international clearance that that has.

"Dallas" is what the description says, so I'd say mostly AT&T Stadium night 2. 2 hours 5 min long, by Paul Dugdale who did Adele's Live at the Royal Albert Hall among others.

1989 has now spent 4 years charting on the Billboard 200. It actually went up on the year-end Billboard 200 this year. 2014: #3 (I believe this is from only one or two chart weeks) 2015: #1 2016: #17 2017: #101 2018: #82 According to oldbloke at UkMix, 1989 moved about 408,000 SPS in the US in the 2018 Billboard calendar year which is very impressive. Lots of new albums struggle to get that much in their first year. This makes me confident that a diamond certification will come eventually.

A diamond certification is almost a guarantee - it has been at 9x Platinum for more than a year now. I'm pretty sure she'll grab Diamond for 1989 and Shake It Off in less than a year.

I didn't know that there was a 1 hr documentary done about Reputation. Just came across it on YouTube and it was put out by Big Machine, so I need to check it out.
Edit: It's just spliced together footage that was already released but still nice!

Here's the first chart for December 10, 2018, 00:00 EST to December 17, 2018, 00:00 EST, made from the scrobbles of 51 active participants. The latest single and fan favorite from Reputation tops the chart this week, but Ariana's Imagine comes surprisingly close considering it was released on the 5th day of the chart's tracking period (should I change the tracking period to Friday - Thursday to coincide with when songs are usually released?). Hey man, this is pretty cool and I know you worked hard on this, but I have no interest in reading this if it’s a weekly thing. Maybe you can make an own thread for people who want to see this? If not, no worries, but personally, I’m hear for real Taylor news and updates.

Also, a new episode of the State of Swift podcast is out (Speak Now review), my favorite one so far. stateofswift.podiant.co/STATE OF SWIFT: A TAYLOR SWIFT PODCAST A teenage fangirl introduces two grown-ass adults to the music of Taylor Swift and her chaotic, dysfunctional fanbase. Gwen is a teenage girl obsessed with Taylor Swift. Dillon and Trevor are two grown-ass adults morbidly fascinated by the pop star’s following of acolytes and the life of an average Swiftie. Put the three together and you’ve got a podcast about country music wunderkinds, middle school crushes who made some bad choices, lying to a celebrity’s mom, and a fan community perpetually prepared to tear itself apart. This is the State of Swift.
