I always found the whole kimye fiasco to be too inconsequential for taylor for it to be a genuine attempt from kimye to take her down tbh. and bitch no, the shady and petty beckies of pop music is direly needed for some entertainment when all the pop gurls is bombing hard right now. |

This pettiness is not a good color for Taylor. Katy's era is off to such a shaky start, there was no need for this. Taylor should have just let this go, because Witness is going to come and go. Now she can't even claim a high road (although it would hardly have been a high road given "Bad Blood".) Idk. Team Katy for sure and wow I never thought I'd be on Katy Perry's side for anything.

Wow, it didn't even click for me when I went on Spotify this morning and saw the ad for Taylor's music being back on the service, that it was the same day as Katy's album release.
Taylor is going to snatch her BALD when her new album drops.

I'm on team Katy but good move. Will pay off big time when her next single breaks some streaming records.
Sadly Katy wasn't up to the task this time, had this been a Teenage Dream type of era, she would have a shot, but nothing on Witness sounds like a #1 hit.

What was the situation post her removing her albums from Spotify? I was under the impression at one point they had renegotiated percentages or contracts for artists or something of the effect due to her public stance but maybe I am remembering it wrong?

I can't even put into words how much I love hate her. Gosh, I wish she would disappear forever. She's the worst. This level of pettiness is hilarious though. On topic though, she would've been even more petty if she surprise dropped an album today. Or at least a single. That makes me hope that nothing will be ready to go anytime soon from her.
