You really think Camp Taylor doesn't have anything to do with Taylor Swift headlines? ;) Former MTV Chief did an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, and one question out of the 15 he was asked had to do with the incident. Of course other media outlets are going to use Taylor/Beyoncé's names to get clicks, people don't really care about a former MTV Chief. Y'all don't get to blame her for everything. Well yeah, I read it, lol. I'm not talking about the context of the quote – I'm talking about how it spreads. But I must just be cynical...

1989 re-entered the UK charts at #31, Norway at #8 and Australia at #26.
Total Spotify streams from her first week back:

Red is so good. The only criticisms I have of it are the bipolar track sequencing and that it's three songs too long. The standouts for me are "All Too Well", "I Almost Do", the acoustic version of "State Of Grace", "Everything Has Changed", "22" (which I used to hate), "Come Back... Be Here", and my current theme song, "Treacherous". 💗
I can never decide between Red, Fearless and 1989 as my favourite album of hers. I don't think I'll ever be able to rank them.

Re-entering charts all over the world! As a chart watcher and Taylor stan, I'm happy she put her stuff on Spotify. I hope she puts her new one on Spotify when it's released. Imagine the slayage that will bestow us!

Are we sure she is even releasing an album this year? "Shake It Off" was released in August of 2014.. I don't remember when her livestream was announced to announce the album back in 2014. Unless she goes surprise album on us.

Unless she goes surprise album on us. The livestream was announced during the first days of August in 2014, so we are still on time... With that being said, I'm sure we won't get anything before the end of August, and I'm more inclined to think it'll happen in September. She won't release anything before her trial is over, and I doubt she'll attend the VMAs

"State Of Grace" and "Style" are indeed irrefutably top five.

The Billboard list isn't bad (it does skew towards her big hits but that was to be expected) but "New Romantics" has no business being there, even if it's in last place. There are so many songs that are deserving of being in that list than NR ("Wildest Dreams", "All Too Well" etc.).
Also now that I typed "All Too Well" where is ATW? "Dear John" is great too, but I would've loved to see ATW over Dear John as the only non-single/non-promotional single song on there.

Style is so generic. The other singles had teeth.

Style is her greatest single.
If it sounds like less of a standout now than it did when it was new, it's because that sound was used on other tracks during and afterwards, and now it's fallen out of vogue.
And Jason Lipshutz remains an absolutely s**t writer.

Style has a fun instrumental but it sounded like the tired Drive soundtrack which was two years old when Style was released. The chorus was very weak for Taylor.

"Style" was and remains phenomenal, truly one of the greatest pop songs of the past few years (past decade in my opinion).
The guitar/bass-line combo, together with the perfect lyrical and tonal delivery on Taylor's part, is unbeatable.
Edit: Also, 1989 is eligible for 8x Platinum based on album sales/TEA/on-demand streaming alone and is likely eligible for Diamond RIAA certification with video streams included (as they are now with all album certifications). I'm guessing they're waiting for the new album to come out and get it certified then for some press.

Co-sign on "Style." It's one of Max Martin's finest moments as a producer and easily one of Taylor's greatest (if not the greatest) singles. Pretty much perfection.

Style is her best song. It IS Taylor Swift in a nutshell. Its video is her best one yet, too. That aesthetic is exactly what I always wanted to see from pop Taylor.

LMAO @ "emblem of female empowerment." That legal bud doing good work right there.
They're not wrong on her not backing down into a settlement though. She should see this through with all her force.

I never got all the love for "Style" either but it's not a bad song. I always found it a little boring though after to many listens. The production is great but it needs a little more bite somewhere in my opinion.
