Damn it. I got this email from SarahmcLachlan.com with the tracklisting for the upcoming "Remixed 2" album...does anyone have the tracklisting? Please post if you do!
It had some cool looking remixes on there. I tried googling it but nothing came up. Did anyone else get this email? I think it's coming out in early summer.

I haven't found the tracklisting yet, but I have a pretty good idea of which mixes might be on there. The Gabriel & Dresden Anti-Gravity Mix and Satoshi Tomiie Club Mix of "Fallen" might be on there. Same with the remix of "Stupid" and the JXL and Marius DeVries mix of "World On Fire." The rest might be previously unreleased mixes of earlier songs. But I have a feeling that this compilation may not be immediately released in the U.S. :( The Remixed album came out in 2001 in Canada and in other places, and then the domestic one came out towards the end of 2003. I bought the Canadian release of the album in 2002 because I didn't want to wait for the domestic release. I had bought both 12" sets that contained the remixes back in 2001 when they came out. That held me over until I could afford the CD.
Hopefully this one is released in a timely manner.

Does anyone to care to post any of these remixes? I love Sarah, but have never heared any of the remixes of the songs of her latest album (Fallen, World On Fire, Stupid, etc).

I thought I remembered it saying fall of this year? I'm not sure though. Wow that sounds like forever away. The Junkie XL mix of "World On Fire" is easily my favorite Sarah remix. The guitar is so powerful and it really sounds great. The Gabriel & Dresden remix of "Fallen" isn't half bad either. Other than those and the hyper mix of "Stupid", I haven't heard the rest.

I'm surprised the Marius DeVries and Solar mixes of "World On Fire" were not included.

Here is the finalized tracklist and other information, courtesy of Billboard.com. Can't wait to hear this!
McLachlan Rounds Up Second Remix Album
By Barry A. Jeckell, N.Y.
"Bloom," a second set of Sarah McLachlan songs re-imagined by an all-star cast of remixers, is due Sept. 6 via Arista. The 10-track album incorporates features contributions from the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am, Junkie XL, Thievery Corporation, Sly & Robbie and Faithless' Rollo, among others.
All but one track stems from McLachlan albums, while "Just Like Me," a collaboration with former Run-D.M.C. principal Darryl McDaniels (aka DMC), is slated for inclusion on his long-awaited, still-unreleased solo album, "Checks, Thugs, Rock-n-Roll." The version on "Bloom" was remixed by will.i.am.
The oldest song included here, "Vox" as remixed by Tom Middleton, originally appeared on McLachlan's debut album, 1989's "Touch." Conversely, six tracks stem from her most recent studio set, 2003's "Afterglow": "Fallen" (Gabriel & Dresden), "Stupid" (DJ Hyper), "World on Fire" (Junkie XL), "Dirty Little Secret" (Thievery Corporation), "Train Wreck" (Sly & Robbie) and "Answer" (Talvin Singh).
McLachlan's previous remix album, 2003's “Sarah McLachlan Remixed,” reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart.
McLachlan recently wrapped an international tour and performed as part of the Philadelphia edition of Live 8. During the North American portion of the run, opening act the Perishers frequently welcomed McLachlan onstage to sing their song "Pills." A duet recording of the track -- the original of which appears on the band's sophomore album, "Let There Be Morning" (Nettwerk) -- is available for free download from the Perishers' official Web site.
Here is the "Bloom" track list:
"World on Fire" (Junkie XL Club Mix) "Ice" (Dusted Mix) "Vox" (Tom Middleton Mix) "Dirty Little Secret" (Thievery Corporation) "Stupid" (DJ Hyper Remix) "Train Wreck" (Sly & Robbie Mix) "Just Like Me" DMC featuring Sarah McLachlan (will.i.am Mix) "Answer" (Talvin Singh Mix) "Fallen" (Gabriel & Dresden Anti-Gravity Mix) "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" (Junior Boys Mix)

I'm glad they have a date this time! For the first one, I was given a July date. I got in February of the following year! Then it was released domestically right after Afterglow had come out. Oh well.
It looks like I'm going to go broke considering all the hot upcoming releases!

Maybe someone could edit the initial post to reflect the newly-announced title.

You can listen to streams of the tracks on her official site, bar the DMC track. :)

The "Answer" remix sounded like it was going to be amazing, then it turned into a train wreck (bad pun).

Disco Dude - Google Audacity. It's a free program that is great for recording streams. ;)

EDITED
Most of the songs are downtempo. I like that. It's more like alternate versions of the songs than dance remixes. "World On Fire", "Fallen", "Stupid", and "Vox" are the only uptempo ones. "Train Wreck" is not fast enough to be a dance track, but it's not slow enough to be a ballad either.
All in all, this is worth a listen.

Will this be having single/club/remix releases? I'd kill to hear "Fallen" or "Stupid" in a club.

Will this be having single/club/remix releases? I'd kill to hear "Fallen" or "Stupid" in a club. The remixes for "Fallen" and "World On Fire" have been previously released to the clubs last year. "Stupid" was issued as a CD single in other territories with the remix. "Fallen" and "World On Fire" didn't have CD singles released of the remixes. Promo CDs and 12" singles were where those came from, and all those remix service CDs. They might promote one or two songs from this project as a singles though. We just don't know which ones yet. It will probably be one of the uptempo ones.

I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone. Gabriel & Dresden were on point when they put this gem together. Now if only I could fulfill my dream of hearing the "World On Fire" (Junkie XL Mix) at the club.
