WTH??!!!
"Excuse Me Mr" is an ANTHEM!!!! Did not expected this at all... now I'll start coming to terms with the fact that something like Hollaback Girl could win this thing

Bathwater: it has a "Roaring 20s" vibe to it that was very unique in pop music at the time (& still)...it's out way too soon
Excuse Me Mr: my ranking was exactly on for this...but that said, i may have ranked it slightly too low

That's a very strong top20!
The only song I don't care for is Hollaback Girl (never got the appeal)

I liked Make Me Like You for a bit but it burned fast, unusually fast. I don't dislike it or anything but I always skip it.

1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9 10 13 15 16 18 19 21 23 27 34 37 40
Not bad. I have hopes that I'll make it to the top 10 with at least half of my own top 10 still intact, but this is a very competitive top 20, almost all of it is top 10 worthy.
Apologies in advance to everyone for underranking my #34. I do like the song but I like so many other songs more.
37 is massively overrated, though. In fact I think I ranked it too high with my 37! I don't know why I don't like my #40 more. It sounds like everything you'd think I would like from a Gwen/No Doubt song, but I just never cared for it.

Running & Underneath It All (while good songs) are not worthy of Top20 here considering some of the gems that left too soon
i got another perfect ranking with #21 !!! :)

What I'll say about my 42 is I'm shocked it did as well as it did on the charts.

We begin the top 20 with a song has something to do with saving animals...and never shutting up about it..or Trump.

Yeah Bathwater is at least 10 spots too low. And Running is fantastic! It definitely should be top 20

"Bathwater" should have been top 5. It's the classic No Doubt sound. That sorta punky ska sound they started with.

Sorry for EMM ... I hadn't heard it in about 10 years, and coming into this RD I thought it was going to be in the top 30. However, it performed worse in my comparison with other songs. So I guess it hasn't aged that well with me. I haven't ever been a big fan of New, to be honest I may have over-ranked Used To Love You a bit. My #20-13 were quite close, and I think my knowledge of her personal connection with the song gave it an advantage. Speaking of my Top 20, I'm also sad that another one is gone already :( The Real Thing, with its clear New Order influence, is a solid song that I prefer to several of ND songs. Bathwater is good, but I just prefer other of their ska songs, and I used to like it a bit more few years ago, so it just got stuck at my #32 Make Me Like You, on the other hand, is a GEM. It should've been Top 20 as it was just as good as some of her classics

At least it went top 20? By the way, you have me listed twice in the "South Side" post, Crapper.

That was my lowest rank remaining, so I'm happy. :) My 33 is a song that I hated on first listen, but it grew on me after that. I think it's maybe a 6/10 for me now. I'm surprised that it is still in, though.

now I'll start coming to terms with the fact that something like Hollaback Girl could win this thing Lol. There is no way a song as polarizing as "Hollaback Girl" will win. "Don't Speak" will probably win.
