Tony Moran or Peter Rauhfer 2005 mix?
Anyone else heard and have it?
Looking for some fresh Janet sounds since her new CD isn't out now until early 2006...

I haven't heard anything about new mixes, but they would be most welcome. Together Again is probably my favorite song of all time. And the Tony Moran 7" Edit w/ Janet Vocal Intro is my favorite Janet remix. Bring on the new mixes. I have like 20 of them to begin with, but I could always use more.

What I heard (and read) was that the Rauhofer 2005 one was played by him at some of the recent gay pride events. I don't know if he actually did.
Actually, I have question about one of the remixes of "Together Again." Which mix did Chris Cox use of "Together Again" in his "Janet Megamix 04"? I really liked that version.

Chris Cox didn't "use" any remixes in any of his memgamixes.. he always starts fresh. Any versions used in that remix are his own.

Thunderpuss does have a full mix for together again, unfortunately, it's not the one he used in his megamix. Like the madonna GHV2 mix, they were all done specifically for the megamix, not available elsewhere.

You can buy the maxi single used for pretty cheap these days and it has this 12" mix on it. Love this song. Janet rocks! |

The 7" Edit for the Moran mix was even better than the full length imo. It's still five and a half minutes long. It was on the limited digipak single. This came out when i was a freshman in college and I bought 3 different singles of the song. That right there was 13 versions. I had all 3 singles in my changer and played the hell out of them. My roommate wanted to murder me. lol

I heard a rumor about Rauhofer doing a 2005 remix of this, too. Not sure if it ever saw the ligth of day, though. One of Janet's strongest tracks, in my opinion. :)

Tony Moran did a new mix of this during the last couple of years which he has played a handful of times. I heard a short clip from a video someone posted on YouTube and it was really good. That said, I am liking Wayne's mix. |

I've been trying to hunt down a .wav copy of the T&G Tribal Dub, with sadly no success. I've managed to acquire the T&G Tribal Mix, but never the dub - does anyone know of a place to find this? I'd also love to hear Wayne G's full mix ....and TM's new mix too for that matter! The remix that always did it for me, and will never be equaled in my opinion, was the beautiful Tony Humphries mix - the piano chords in the chorus (especially the C7/G) are absolutely brilliant.

I've heard Tony Moran's 2009 mix five or six times. I prefer his original. The mellower mix just works better with the vocals since she's so whispery
