How many weeks has Shape been #1? Do you think it will break the all-time record? 12 weeks at #1. The 5/13 chart will likely be 13 weeks at #1. Can we at least hope That's What I Like will be #1 on the 5/13 chart?

Unless its remix gives it a boost, next week TWIL will drop the bar for the #1 selling song even further down than Black Beatles did and closer to the last decade.

Sales are pretty much dying as the years pass so not a surprise at this point Streaming has taken over as the powerhouse part of the charts

Bruno has a ~30% lead on iTunes (Gucci Mane Remix is #98, SOY has another version at #100) and is getting closer on radio. Don't know about the streaming numbers, tho. I'm just disappointed that this week it's Hot 100 points are going to be lower than last week, according to simmnfierzig.

Whitney Houston's "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" was #1 this week in 1988. It's one of my favorite Whitney ballads, and I can't believe it doesn't even have 3 million YouTube views. I'm also a big 1980's music fan so gradually I've been locating the videos of YouTube of some of my faves. They definitely have much lower views than more recent songs, probably because people are more familiar with the latter, not the quality of the music nor even the video per se.

Anyone knows what's up with Lord Huron's The Night We Met hovering around #50 on iTunes? It is currently discounted, but still what's the sudden interest? Anyway, first time I hear them.

So according to kworb's radio update, Shape of You audience fell again for a second day. 1 more day and I'll be convinced it has reached its peak.

IM going to guess 188M airplay for SOY, so #1 really gonna depend on HUMBLE streams
And Despacito just got added to Pop. Possible top 5 next week?

It's worth noting that the ATRL forecast had Despacito zooming up to #10 thanks to the remix along with Stay and DNA landing in the zone. I personally can't see that happening so soon, but who knows? Well, all of us in about 13 hours.

I think it's possible because of Streaming. Both versions got around 155M YouTube views this week. I'm assuming 10% of them are in the US - the remix is prob around 20%, that's around 20M streams just from the videos. Sales were good too - the original version was discounted probably helping it more

Shawn Mendes new single is taken from his already released second album? I thought it was from his upcoming album. I don't think it happens very often for a third single to hit #1 in iTunes after its release as a single, does it?

I don't think it happens very often for a third single to hit #1 in iTunes after its release as a single, does it? It was not a part of the album, but it's the single off the re-release of the album, similar to Katy Perry's "Wide Awake". Of course it's new and no one has heard it yet

IM going to guess 188M airplay for SOY, so #1 really gonna depend on HUMBLE streams We still need today's update, but it looks like "SOY" will end up about even for the week in terms of Mediabase impressions. 188M would be a 3M increase in Billboard/BDS. They use different panels so it's possible, but do you think it's likely?

^^^Thanks for the 6 day AI updates!!!^^^ Gosh Katy's "Chained to The Rythem" didn't catch on like a smash but it doesn't deserve to drop like the plague. Hopefully that means somethings coming this friday... "Shining" by Khalid and Beyonce is doing great. I thought it had peaked a couple of weeks ago at Rythmic. I guess I was wrong. lol. Perhaps a few top 40 stations will give it a few spins again.
