You obviously aren't paying attention to the lyrics at all. Humble doesn't call women bitches. "Bitch sit down, be humble" is referring to arrogant rappers, not women. In fact, half of the second verse calls out mainstream media for portraying black people and women poorly. It doesn't matter. Do you seriously think the lyrics is deep anyways?...yes. This isn't Flo Rida.

It doesn't matter. Do you seriously think the lyrics is deep anyways? Sad that he's actually the b**ch of the religion and I don't just mean conservative/liberal or whatever crap What do you mean it doesn't matter? What doesn't matter? I never said they were deep, and why would they need to be. Shape of You is as shallow of a meaning as can be. What the hell is "bitch of the religion"? What religion? Why are you bringing politics into this? This post is the epitome of making zero sense and adding literally nothing to the conversation. But it did piss you off. So it added something.

What the hell is "bitch of the religion"? What religion? Why are you bringing politics into this? This post is the epitome of making zero sense and adding literally nothing to the conversation. But it did piss you off. So it added something. Let me add something then as well. Posting Rules3. No Personal Attacks. -- Personal attacks towards other board members anywhere on the message board will not be tolerated and will result in a warning/possible suspension. These include, but are not limited to: - direct insults
- underhanded comments (i.e.: "Well you must have heard a different version of that song", "Well you need to get your ears cleaned out")
- racial/homophobic comments & any slurs against those with developmental disabilities (these will not be tolerated and will result in a suspension/permaban)
In evaluating possible personal attacks, staff will consider the intent of the poster and the poster's relationship with those addressed in questionable posts. Posters are also encouraged to work out possible issues in a respectful manner with each other via PM. Staff may initiate such group PM discussions. 4. No Trolling. -- Posting messages with the intention of starting arguments/upsetting other members will not be tolerated and will result in the topic being locked and warnings/suspensions given. Posts seen as bordering on trolling will be considered as such and given the same treatment as obvious trolling posts. This includes but is not limited to: - repeatedly trashing specific artists in the same topics
- retaliating against other members by insulting artists you assume to be someone they like. (i.e.: "I didn't like Christina's last album." "It's not like Britney has done anything good lately!!")
- replying to a troll in a trollish matter. It brings you down with them and may result in warnings for both people.
In evaluating possible trolling, staff will consider the intent of the poster and whether the poster was joking rather than deliberately derailing the thread. 6. No nonsense posts. -- Please post only if you have something to contribute. If a post contains nothing relevant to the discussion, consists only of a previously-quoted message or strays the discussion off-topic, it may be removed to ensure continuity for the topic's discussion. Persistent violations of this may result in a warning. If you require any clarification on the above, please refer to this topic, located in The Lounge. And yes, this counts as an in thread warning/reminder, and it's the only one.

It's really nice seeing this rapid turnover on the chart lately. I could care less about longevity records. The chart is more fresh (and more diverse) now than it has been in a long time.

Between you and Leona's Rickety Wagon, today has far fulfilled Pulse's messy breakdown quota for the week. Enjoy your inevitable ban. Hope Humble is able to hold on for another week or even more! It's gonna be a fun couple of weeks watching Kendrick, Ed, and Bruno duke it out. Also, It Ain't Me had a good shot for top ten next week!

I don't like weeks like this when an entire album debuts (even if I really like the album like in the case of Damn) and almost everything is pushed down but the #1 for Humble was absolutely worth it.

On the contrary, Don't Wanna Know, Starboy, and Fake Love are all gone and I am all for this quick turnover rate rather than having dead weight in the charts for weeks. Love 2017!

3 new Top 10 entries which is great and continues a good streak of a relatively rapid turnover for the Top 10. Also, glad to see Stay reach the Top 10 and provide a credited female artist. Next week should be another interesting one.

This is the 4th week in a row that a song has peaked at #4, and DNA. Is the 8th song this year to peak at #4 so far.
1. 24k Magic (peaked in both 2016-2017) 2. Bad Things 3. Million Reasons 4. Chained to the Rhythm 5. I Feel It Coming 6. iSpy 7. Sign of the Times 8. DNA.

Also of note is that half of the songs were not on the chart the prior week: DNA., Million Reasons (the only re-entry of the 8), Chained to the Rhythm, & Sign of the Times.

It didn't affect the sales counted for the Hot 100, though. If "SOY" declined in streaming, then I can't explain them saying it gained in performance.

Per the Hot 100 article it fell in airplay and streaming and stayed even in sales:

I completely agree with everybody that is complimenting the increased turnover of the charts. My biggest issue with the 2016 charts was that the same, boring songs were clogging up the Top 20, making the charts really boring. This year, the charts have been much more interesting (even if there have been some pretty awful hits lmao).

There is an error in the Hot 100 article, though:
This would have us believe "SOY" has 1 million more streams than "Mask Off" yet is ranked 1 spot lower on Streaming Songs.
