I feel like there was a time when this was my favorite song off that soundtrack. (I probably went through that with a few different songs there.) Such is the greatness of that album. :)
This might be the second song ever to only reach #40 in R&R - after Jonathan Cain's "'Til It's Time to Say Goodbye" in 1976 - and like him, she spent 2 weeks there. It's one of only a handful to do that in the pre-PPW era (pre-1994), though the only other one I can immediately think of is Debbie Gibson's "Losin' Myself" from 1993.
