Not sure. While I was expecting "Daddy Lessons" to be out sooner rather than later, I definitely did not think it would be the first to go.

I hope it's not Daddy Lessons. I understand it may be viewed as Beyoncé's song here, but it's still way better than some of the other lower end tracks here. I mean, I can't see it going out first. Low, sure, but last place?

That being said, I can't figure out anything else for the hint except maaaaaaybe You Can't Hurry Love.

With our first song out we already see one person lose a top 3 song! Now most of us ranked this low and with good reason it's not really a Dixie Chicks song. I like it and like hearing them do a western swing style song but compared to the rest of their work this doesn't really compare.

I actually think Roly Poly is really cute, but in that way that it just kind of sounds like something you'd hear on a kids' tv show or something.

castleoblivion26 is correct! Second song out is their last solo single "The Neighbor" which was released for the documentary 'Shut Up And Sing' about the "incident" and the fallout. This song being this low is not a surprise for me as it was only released for a short period and doesn't seem to be available anymore. I even had trouble finding writers or producers on it. 
This song also has the lowest Standard Deviation!

Roly Poly.....my guess is that I am the biggest fan of Western Swing here....and I will totally own that. This is a stellar, modern rendition of the 1930s classic. 

I also own the Asleep At The Wheel album it came from along with the prequel "A Tribute to the Music of Bob Wills" and sequel "Still the King". All 3 albums are packed full of contemporary music's A list players (Merle, Mr. Willie, Garth, Strait, Paisley, Skaggs, Reba, B&D and all the way to Huey Lewis!). Ray Benson has made a lot of friends along the way.

I'm a little surprised The Neighbor is that low, but I also bought the song on iTunes when it came out and charted it (it made my Top 10) so I did listen to it a lot - but it wasn't widely released though I didn't know it was no longer available. Strange. So I guess it makes sense.

YAAASSSSS, so excited this has started!! Not surprised or upset one bit with the results so far :) I did not dislike either of these songs, but they just do not compare to the classics.

I grew up with all their albums, but I'd never heard The Neighbor or the Roly Poly/YCHL covers before this rankdown. The only one of the three I didn't care for was their YCHL. I guess I'm not really surprised to see them at the bottom.

The longer this takes, the more I keep thinking I should've changed the order of some songs. That's the problem of doing these rankings being a super fan: you feel guilty to rank songs you love too low on your list LOL
