I just heard the Johnny Vicious remix of "Its Not Right But Its Okay" for the first time the other day. It is a good Whitney club mix. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the long version of "Learned From The Best"

What a brilliant mix this was! One of HQ2's best ever! I think this is one of those cases where if you have a strong song to begin with, the resulting remixes can't HELP but be fantastic also! The US cd5 (Arista, 07822-13823-2) is something you should definitely pick up if you can find it. Check ebay and stuff, here's the tracklisting:
1 I Learned From The Best (HQ2 Uptempo Radio Mix) (4:19) 2 I Learned From The Best (Jr. Vasquez Disco Radio Mix) (4:22) 3 I Learned From The Best (HQ2 Club Mix) (10:26) 4 I Learned From The Best (Jr. Vasquez USA Millennium Mix) (11:24) 5 I Learned From The Best (Jr. Vasquez Disco Club Mix) (9:18) 6 I Learned From The Best (HQ2 Dub) (8:45) 7 I Learned From The Best (Jr. Vasquez U.K. Radio Mix) (4:50) 8 I Learned From The Best (Original Version) (4:09)

I have a 10:29 mix by Hex Hector (and I guess Mac Quayle based on your description). I probably just mislabeled it.

Anybody out there has it or knows a link I can find it??!... Well, you can always try www.gemm.com for links to stores you can buy it from - probably would be only a few dollars for a maxi-single CD with a heck of a lot of mixes on it. Or did you want a link where you can download it for free without paying for it?

Well,I checked at stores in my area and online but I couldn't find the specific mix.....that's why I asked for the board's help. I am happy to tell you that I finally got hold of the song. Thanks!

All I know is that it's a Junior Vasquez remix that uses the Evelyn "Champagne" King sample. Which of the Junior mixes on the single are that mix?

I'm assuming it's one of those disco mixes. I thought that too, but I wasn't sure. I'll find a sample to double check. Thanks.

I like the Junior Mixes because she added new vocals. The HQ2 Radio Mix was the one that got played on the radio near me and there was also a video with that version.

The HQ2 Mixes of this song are by far one of the best Hex/Mac mixes EVER...if not the best. I only wish that the radio mix contained the climax of the club mix....SIMPLY ORGASMIC!!!
