In terms of what Ryan Seacrest might actually cite, a tie between Donna Lewis' " I Love You Always Forever" in 1996 (when AT40 didn't exist, but Casey Kasem was hosting Casey's Top 40 using the Radio & Records chart) and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" in 2005 (falling under Ryan's AT40). Both had 12 weeks.

I wonder if there will be a new intro to AT40 anytime soon? I'm not sure how often that happens, but it would be interesting to hear a new intro into the countdown.

I believe 11 weeks for both R&R and Mediabase (they were the same thing at that time ) and 12 on AT40.

At the beginning of the 4th hour, Ryan introduced two affiliate stations, KCDU-FM 101.7 The Beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA, and WHQC-FM Channel 96.1, Charlotte, NC. I hope that he is going to do so every week.

Most weeks at #1: 14 weeks. "The Sign" by Ace of base in 1994
Most weeks at #2: 10 weeks - Foreigner's 1981 hit "Waiting For A Girl Like You"
Most weeks at #3: 9 weeks - "3 AM" by matchbox 20 in 1998
Most weeks charted: 72 weeks - "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz (Nov 2011)
