And what I've been purposely neglecting to mention is that even though Whitney had SEVEN #5 rankings, Michael also had seven #2 rankings, which is pretty much the deciding factor into his win despite only three number one ranks.

I had actually spent a few minutes deciding if IWDWS or Billie Jean would be my number one. Either way, I'm happy with the results.

The opening bass line to "Billie Jean" is epic. I even catch myself skipping back to the beginning of the song to listen to it again sometimes.
In an interesting coincidence, my #1 was ranked #5 on both this rankdown ("Hey Brother" - Avicii) and the 2013 Active Rock rankdown ("Voices" - Alice In Chains).

Thank you everyone for participating! I announced this in the Rakdown Queue thread, but many people don't frequent it so... Thanks to the success of this rankdown, I will begin a series I am titling "Au$tin Presents." After the Kesha rankdown is over, it will begin. Essentially, it will be different rankdowns using only songs I have in my library that match different criteria. Here are the ideas I have laid out so far: Seasonal top 20 charts based off of my personal top 40 chart. Number one hits from my personal chart. Holiday songs: Halloween, 4th of July, Christmas, etc. Songs You've Probably Never Heard series Moods/themes: Hype Songs, Chill Songs, etc. After the Kesha rankdown ends, the first (technically second if we count this one as the first) rankdown to kick off this series will be... Au$tin Presents: Winter 2014

Well, this wasnt the song that I was expecting to get 3 30 rankings. I am confident now that my Number 1 is the highest SD in the game since I am very surprised it made it this far. I honestly thought that it would not make it to top half based on who the artist is. Edit - Oops, I think I just gave away my 1.. It was a 7/10 before that bridge, the bridge absolutely ruined it for me. |

Rankdown Results Closeness What method do you use to calculate Closeness? Each user's standard deviation from the actual rankdown. For example, say someone had Billie Jean at 10 and I Wanna Dance at 6. The difference from BJ is 9 and from IWD is 4. Find the average of that to get 6.5 as their "closeness." |

Beyonce quoted soulja boy and that immediately makes it not the greatest song here on its own, couple that with a only decent beat, a meh performance and lack of an explosion that the build-up should have led to. Yes it is definitely worse than one of the greatest rock songs of all time. |
