I've heard that Jason Nevins did a mix for this, and I'm usually interested in any mix Ford does:
TO BE FORD'S BEST REMIX TO DATE
FORD does remix for Matchbox 20 front man Rob Thomas for his debut solo single. "Lonely" is scheduled for release on Lava/ Atlantic in March. FORD is very excited about this remix in particular and goes on to say that "This is the best remix I have ever done." - FordProductions.com

I decided to ask him where the mix ended up: Hey William, Thanks for the love. Unfortunately Rob Thomas rejected my remix after it was already approved by the label. I never heard why. The mix is absolutely dope but will remain on the shelf for eternity. You will get to hear it (at least in part) eventually. I have plans to strip his vocals off and use the track for something else. Right now I am working a couple of remixes for Missy Elliot and a new artist on Epic. Those should be out shortly. As for other things my main focus is on Kassie "Threw It All Away" We are currently touring 3 days a week supporting the single. Attached is The Fabolous remix.
