Nah. Having seen her live in person and on numerous TV performances, I am entitled to speak my truth. Like I said, I love the album and still think she was robbed. You know how I feel about stans around here so don't do it.

Yeah, she is so inconsistent live. And she makes it way worse when she tries to switch up the arrangements (and her band sucks a lot of the time). She really needs to find a way to keep things simple, which is hard because her songs are so dense melodically and lyrically. I actually thought her Grammy performance was one of her best though, she seemed way more in control than she usually does.

She was f**king ROBBED. The voting block proved once again they go for the safest, most commercial choice in each category. You could argue me down in several of the categories she lost, but no way in hell did she deserve to lose Best Urban Contemporary Album to The Weeknd. And "The Weekend" is one of my favorite R&B songs of last year, I was pulling for it in R&B performance.

I was not expecting anything different. They don't give a damn about these R&B chicks. Jazmine had a similar run in 2008 (New act, great songwriter, some impact on pop radio) and lost in all of her categories as well. At least SZA was able to put on a performance. Ledisi has been consistently nominated for years and no award so far.

I feel sad, honestly. But I'm glad Alessia won BNA anyway, she deserved it.

SZA Says Her Voice is 'Permanently Injured' After Swollen Vocal Cord Diagnosis

Although SZA recently took a leave of absence from the TDE Championship Tour to prevent permanent damage to her swollen vocal cords, she fears the worst may have already taken place. The singer shared a series of tweets Tuesday (May 29) claiming her voice had already taken a blunder, saying it was "permanently injured."

"Tonight was the test," read one of the since-deleted tweets, archived by Vulture. "That settles that."

The "Love Galore" singer continued: “I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are f**ked up. They been f**ked up. I need space goodbye.”

The tweets followed SZA's performance at the TDE Championship Tour date at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday night (May 29), marking her return since the absence. Last week, SZA detailed her vocal issues on Instagram, saying that if she didn't take a break now, she'd "be forced to pause permanently."

"I’ve been touring for 11 months," SZA explained in the caption. "This didn’t happen overnight. I've been troubleshooting for a while now and Usually steroids and pushing through help. They don’t this time. I’m not sick my voice just won’t f**king work."

I hope her voice is okay, and SZA herself. She seems completely overwhelmed by fame, so I just hope she has good people around her to help ensure she's taking care of herself and that she's getting the support she needs. She's such a talent.

That's unfortunate about her voice but I am not surprised she has ruined it, her technique is ... not the best.
