He doesn't have to make anything extraordinary. Look at Bruno's low effort TWIL vid Minimalistic is not the same as low effort or low budget. An edited live performance music video in the vein of When We Were Young or All Time Low would be more of a low effort and that still requires editing and setup N*****s in Paris was a performance video with far better visuals than TWIL

The simplicity of the TWIL video is what makes it work. Plus, the song was already smashing and it didn't need a massive thing, just enough of a streaming boost to finally move it ahead of Shape of You (and HUMBLE).

From Gary Trust's Twitter:
15. Imagine Dragons β "Believer" (=; 13th week at #1 on the Hot Rock Songs chart) 33. Niall Horan β "Slow Hands" (+19) 59. Thomas Rhett feat. Maren Morris β "Craving You" (+6; also moves up one spot to #8 on the Country Songs chart)

Remember how long TWIL was blocked from number one? It has now spent more weeks at number 2 AFTER going number one than it did before. All time record for number two weeks is 11. Would have had it if not for humble. Let's see what happens.

We need some new songs smashing soon. Top 9 not moving at all might make for a interesting chart feat, but it's also one of the most boring weeks for the Hot 100 this year. Predictions: -Unforgettable becomes a summer smash and goes top 3 -Versace On The Floor also goes top 3 once they release it as an official single with a video -Something from Witness smashes, probably the title track or Power -Down ends up gaining slowly and becomes a top 10 hit -Taylor & Rihanna both release lead singles in August (hey Ri did just register two new song titles)

God, what a boring top 10, and giving Congratulations a top 10 slot isn't really helping matters at all. And then we have Redbone and Rolex entering the top 20, which, just why? What is the point of Childish Gambino's screaming, and slow as hell production? Not helping that we have Rolex, which is basically just a Rae Sremmurd knockoff anyway, and we already have a shitty Rae Sremmurd song on here, we don't two of them!

I would like "Congratulations" a lot more if it was given to a much better rapper. The production is wasted on Post Malone.

I like only one song this week (That's What I Like) And another two I don't mind (Stay and Despacito). Congratulations, Mask Off, Humble, I'm The One, Shape Of You and XO Tour Llif3 are terrible. Something Just Like This is eh. This was bound to happen though. I liked 90% of the popular music prior the the last few months (and even some of the earlier weeks in the year were amazing). Streaming is so strong for just one genre right now, and with all this challenge stuff, this likely isn't to change anytime soon. I'll stay waiting for Taylor to return and for other genres to catch up with streaming. At least a lot of people here like these songs, I guess :)

"Slow Hands" has big top 10 potential imo. I don't know about you all, but I've been hearing it a bunch on the radio and it's not even in the Top 50.

I hope: Versace on the floor becomes a Top 3 summer smash Katy's album drops and everybody hears 'Power' and the team immediatly releases it and make that #1. Somebody big releases a lead single to smash as well (Taylor or Rihanna) No, we don't need more songs smashing. RN the top10 is unbelievabley stacked and unfair towards the lower entries. Mask off would have gotten number one if it was released last year around the chreap thrills reign

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/7817686/luis-fonsi-daddy-yankee-despacito-hot-100-post-maloneLuis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee's 'Despacito' Tops Hot 100 for Fourth Week, Post Malone Earns First Top 106/5/2017 by Gary Trust "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, reigns for a fourth week, while "Congratulations," featuring Quavo, marks Malone's first top 10. Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, leads the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated June 17) for a fourth week. Meanwhile, Post Malone scores his first top 10, with "Congratulations," featuring Quavo. As we do each Monday, let's run down the top 10 of the Hot 100, which blends all-genre sales, airplay and streaming data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow, June 6. "Despacito" (released on Universal Music Latino / Raymond Braun / SchoolBoy / Def Jam / UMLE / Republic Records) leads the Streaming Songs chart for a fourth week, with 69.6 million U.S. streams (up 6 percent) in the week ending June 1, according to Nielsen Music. Only one song has posted a greater weekly total on Streaming Songs (which began on March 2, 2013): Baauer's "Harlem Shake," which peaked with 103 million, powered heavily by user-generated clips featuring the song's audio, the week that the survey debuted. "Despacito" passes prior runner-up "Humble.," by Kendrick Lamar, which logged 67.4 million (May 6). The only other song to top 60 million: Adele's "Hello" (61.6 million, in its first week, Nov. 14, 2015). "Despacito" also dominates the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart for a third week, up 5 percent to 29.4 million on-demand domestic clicks. "Despacito" rules the Digital Song Sales chart for a fifth week, with 148,000 downloads sold (up 8 percent) in the week ending June 1; the remix with Bieber accounts for 80 percent of the song's sales (up from 77 percent a week ago and 73 percent each of the two previous weeks). On Radio Songs, "Despacito" keeps at No. 7, with 101 million in all-format airplay audience (up 15 percent) in the week ending June 4, adding the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer award for a third consecutive week. With a fourth week atop the Hot 100, "Despacito" is the second-longest-leading of the three Spanish language-dominant Hot 100 No. 1s in the chart's history. Los Del Rio's "Macarena" ruled for 14 weeks in 1996 and Los Lobos' "La Bamba" (the only all-Spanish-language No. 1; the other two are sung mostly in Spanish) reigned for three weeks in 1987. "Despacito" (whose title translates to "slowly" in English) tops the Hot Latin Songs chart for an 18th week. Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" ranks at No. 2 on the Hot 100 for a fifth week after topping the May 13-dated chart. It leads Radio Songs for a fifth week, with 165 million in audience (essentially even week-over-week), and tops Hot R&B Songs for a 16th week and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a ninth week. DJ Khaled's "I'm the One," featuring Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne, tallies a fourth week at No. 3 after debuting atop the May 20-dated Hot 100. The collab climbs 3-2 on Digital Song Sales (75,000, down 6 percent) and dips 2-3 on Streaming Songs (42.3 million, down 6 percent), while holding at No. 8 on Radio Songs (92 million, up 15 percent). "One" collects a fifth week at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. Lamar's "Humble.," which topped May 6-dated Hot 100, holds at No. 4 and becomes his first Radio Songs top 10 as a lead artist (11-10; 66 million, up 9 percent). He'd previously reached the region as featured on two Radio Songs No. 1s: Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" (five weeks at No. 1 in 2015) and Maroon 5's "Don't Wanna Know" (eight weeks beginning Dec. 31). Before "Humble.," Lamar had peaked as high as No. 19 as a lead with "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice," the latter featuring Drake, both in 2013. Rounding out the Hot 100's top five, Ed Sheeran's former 12-week No. 1 "Shape of You" remains at No. 5 and extends its record for the most weeks spent in the top five from a song's debut, having now logged its first 21 weeks on the Hot 100 in the top five, dating to its arrival at No. 1 (Jan. 28). Future's No. 5-peaking "Mask Off" holds at No. 6 on the Hot 100 and wins the top Streaming Gainer award for its 13 percent boost to 43.3 million U.S. streams. The track also jumps 25-15 on Digital Song Sales (34,000, up 9 percent). Aiding its momentum: a new remix featuring Lamar, released May 25. Zedd and Alessia Cara's "Stay" is steady at its No. 7 Hot 100 peak, while topping Hot Dance/Electronic Songs for a third week, and The Chainsmokers and Coldplay's No. 3-peaking "Something Just Like This" remains at No. 8 on the Hot 100. The Chainsmokers spend a 57th consecutive week in the Hot 100's top 10, a streak second only to Katy Perry's record 69-week run in 2010-11. Lil Uzi Vert's "XO TOUR Llif3" is likewise stationary on the Hot 100, at No. 9 after reaching a No. 8 high. Copy and paste: Nos. 1-9 on the Hot 100 stay in place from last week. The last time that at least the top nine was static? On the chart dated Aug. 24, 2013, the top 11 titles repeated their ranks, led by Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, at No. 1. (One act has been a participant in both weeks: Mars placed at No. 7 that week in 2013 with "Treasure.") Post Malone celebrates his first Hot 100 top 10, as "Congratulations," featuring Quavo, rises 13-10. The song bullets at No. 7 on Streaming Songs (30 million, up 3 percent); soars 24-12 on Digital Song Sales, up 13 percent to 37,000 sold, aided by a 69-cent sale price in the iTunes Store; and nears Radio Songs (19 million, up 5 percent). Malone previously peaked as high as No. 14 on the Hot 100 (among three previous visits) with his debut entry, "White Iverson," in January 2016. Both songs are from his debut album, Stoney, which debuted at its No. 6 peak in December and has spent its first 25 weeks in the chart's top 25 (ranking at No. 13 on the current June 17-dated chart). (Malone recently met former NBA star Allen Iverson, for whom his breakout hit is named. "I'm still tripping at how sick it was," Malone told Billboard.) Quavo, meanwhile, collects his third Hot 100 top 10 as a soloist, all in featured roles. He first reached the region on Drake's "Portland" (also featuring Travis Scott), which peaked at No. 9 in April, before hitting the top 10 with "I'm the One" and "Congratulations." Quavo first entered the tier as part of Migos, whose "Bad and Boujee," featuring Lil Uzi Vert, spent three weeks at No. 1 in January and February. Beyond the Hot 100's top 10, three songs are new to the top 20: Childish Gambino's "Redbone" (22-17); French Montana's "Unforgettable," featuring Swae Lee (23-18); and Ayo & Teo's "Rolex" (31-20).

What is the point of Childish Gambino's screaming, and slow as hell production? I'm trying to figure what slow production is.

Thrilled to see "Congratulations" in the top ten! Also hoping that "Issues", "Unforgettable", and "Redbone" make it.
