I usually dislike Kid Rock, but this is decent. This exactly! There's very very few of Kid Rock's songs I like but this one really works for me and it's not just because Martina's on it. Shame it was the first out but not entirely unexpected. BTW I really enjoy the Mary J. version. |

I put this song as my #70 because I cannot stand Kid Rock's voice at all. Martina sounds great and I love her part and T.I. does well also, just don't like Kid Rock.
the Mary J. Blige version is really good as well, prefer Martina's version the most but do like Mary's also. Never heard the 3rd version I don't believe tbh
Now that the wait is over in getting this started, the only thing left to do is continue. Song #69 is coming up soon, and somehow it is my #69. Highest ranking for this is 43 and someone else loses their #70!

Also forgot about the Kid Rock song. Poor ol Martina sounded fine on it but for me it was doomed because Kid rock. Rip

"Marry Me" is not a song I've ever been able to get into at all so I'm glad it is out early.
Am just gonna throw this out there that I've been throwing out hints to the next song every post giving my thoughts, don't really have a hint for this next one, or maybe I do...
next song will actually see 2 people lose a Top 20, with the highest rank being 19. With two others losing Top 50 songs as well.
Two people will lose their #70's next!

so far 3 duets have gone out in a row, will another follow suit?
My thoughts on "Every Single Night" is that I like the song, not one bit surprised it is out so early but I do enjoy it. Dave Stewart definitely doesn't have the strongest voice but I like the way he and Martina sound together. Won't lie the other duet they have in this is one of my favorite songs but more on that later.
Gonna try and speed up these reveals tonight as I have to be up early in the morning so #67 will be posted sooner than later. I am the highest ranker of this next song as I ranked it at #24 though I only have myself to blame as I knew it was likely to go out early but I still LOVE this song!

The music to "All Messed Up" gives me chills every time, in fact that is something that song and the song at #66 has in common for me despite the fact that both songs have very different sounds. I'm losing my #13 song next... I really cannot get enough of "All Messed Up" and it killed me to not have it higher than I did but I love so many songs from Martina that this one ended up lower as a result. |

I love "Chances Are" a lot as I am a fan of Bob Seger as well.
so we lost 5 duets in the first 5 eliminations! I will state that #65 is not a duet. There is at least one more duet to miss the Top 60, maybe more but at least one.
No one's gonna care about #65 going this early except maybe the person who loses their #16, maybe some who lose a song in their 40's? but I lose my #68, which is the lowest ranking for this song.
