Even though the Top 10 isnt my personal Top 10, it is extremely solid. If you swapped out Highway Don't Care for My Best Friend or even Red Ragtop, this would be an absolutely flawless list.
10 Highway Dont Care 9 Everywhere 8 Humble & Kind 7 I Like It, I Love It 6 Angry All The Time 5 Live Like You Were Dying 4 Where the Green Grass Grows 3 Please Rememeber Me 2 Something Like That 1 Just To See You Smile
is my guess.

"Diamond Rings And Old Barstools" is out way too soon! This song is perfect, the lyrics, production, vocals, everything. This deserved to be in the top 10. "The Cowboy In Me" is also gone way too soon! I honestly thought this song was going to be in the top 5. I agree with bboat11 that this is one of Tim's best vocal performances and that the instrumentation is perfect. "She Never Lets It Go To Her Heart" is another great song but it definitely outperformed my expectations. I didn't think it would even be in the top 20, so making it all the way to #13 is great. "My Next 30 Years" is a good song but so many that were eliminated before it are soooooo much better. I'm glad this didn't make the top 10. "If You're Reading This" is a great song with incredible lyrics. This came out while "I Need You" was still climbing the charts but if he didn't have two songs out at the exact same time competing for airplay I'm sure this would have hit #1.

countrymusicjunkie , I heard a rumor once that Tim totally hates "My Next Thirty Years" for some reason, and has basically refused to play it live ever since it peaked. Do you know if there is any truth to that? Yes, that's absolutely true. He said in an interview with Larry King that he doesn't like the song and never wanted it to be a single. He also said he was very surprised that it went onto become such a huge hit because he doesn't think it's that good of a song and that he has never once performed the song live.

I remember when the song came out I was not a fan of it at all. Was always one of my least favorite songs on that album, however it did eventually grow on me

Also, I just dug this gem back up from page 11, when we were just starting the top 45... You got 17/20 on your top 20 predictions! Pretty remarkable :) The 3 you didn't count were "She Never Lets it Go to Her Heart", "I Need You", and "Not a Moment Too Soon". Hopefully I'll do as good with my 10 prediction. Once again, in no particular order. Live Like You Were Dying Just To See You Smile Angry All The Time Humble And Kind Everywhere Please Remember Me Something Like That The Cowboy In Me Where The Green Grass Grows Don't Take The Girl I got 8 of 10 right. I missed Highway Don't Care and I Like It, I Love It. I still can't believe Don't Take The Girl and The Cowboy In Me missed the top 10.

"If You're Reading This" is absolute perfection in a song. Would've been my #1 if my #1 didn't have so much nostalgia and meaning for me.
I'm really in love with this top 10. I think I'm mostly shocked "Angry All the Time" made it this far. I never hear that one anymore compared to the rest.
Prediction: 10. Please Remember Me 9. Angry All the Time 8. Highway Don't Care 7. Everywhere 6. I Like It, I Love It 5. Humble and Kind 4. Where the Green Grass Grows 3. Like Like You Were Dying 2. Something Like That 1. Just to See You Smile

That's really surprising to me, because imo he really sells that song vocally! He doesn't sound disinterested or anything on it, and does such a great job bringing it to life and making it seem like a wistful yet positive reflection on how somebody is going to change their life once they hit 30. Hallmark of a true talented professional, I guess :)

Well there's me who needs to input data for the Dierks rankdown (I've been pretty good at putting in data as lists come along so I currently only have one) but would rather watch this unfold!

It's really cool to see when someone decides to do it, but I swear it at least doubles the amount of time you need to input data! But hosting is cool though. You get to know what's happening behind-the-scenes and you also have the perks of getting heart attacks whenever someone submits a list with songs you like ranked low

Wow, a lot of people really like "Nashville Without You", it should have been a single instead of "Southern Girl".

I actually preferred the title track from that album, but both are great and had much more single potential than they realized.

So close and I'm glad it made the top 10 :)
Taylor's "I can't live without you, I can't live without you baby" was really addictive for me and I also loved Keith's guitar at the end. I just love everything about this song (even the long outro)! I was expecting this to be much lower (like somewhere in the 20s) and I was ready to be the highest ranker, but I'm glad I was wrong on both of them!

Hey guys, it takes me forever to do those album write-ups... What would you say about me foregoing them for now, finishing up the results, and then coming back to finish the album write-ups when you guys are not all waiting forever for me to post the next result?

I'm really curious to see what the number 1 album track will be. I thought maybe it would be "Number 37405" but I was wrong.
