I really hope some of the Faith collaborations get eliminated soon, especially "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me", "Lets Make Love" and "It's Your Love". Speaking of Faith collaborations, I found myself ranking the collaborations a lot higher when attempting to put together my Faith Hill rankdown list than on this one. I just realized that I'm not sure why, it may have to with that this rank down is just so much higher in number of songs.

With this, we say goodbye to Tim's final single from Curb records! It is also Tim's lowest-peaking single since his debut album. I imagine a lot of that stems from all the drama happening between Tim and his label at this time, as he was about to finally split with them but they were trying desperately to force him to stay. I always wonder what his thoughts are about this song, like if he actually wanted it to be a single or if Curb kinda forced it on him. This whole Emotional Traffic album era felt like it was just so messy to me. This song is good, but nowhere near his best, so I am okay seeing it go now.

[/span][/div][/quote] "Right Back Atcha Babe" flopped because it was released by the label after he'd already left Curb and "Truck Yeah" came out literally the week following, lol. Country radio had no reason to play this.

It's a shame too, considering "Right Back Atcha Babe" was a much better song (most are) than "Truck Yeah."

As much as I like "Right Back Atcha Babe" I'm happy it flopped since that meant Curb couldn't mess with Tim (they could still release greatest hits albums but that's about all they can do) big time anymore. Also, this is about the only time where I'll say I'm happy "Truck Yeah" became a hit over another song.

I think I like Tim's Tiny Dancer more (or at least as much as) the original. One of my favorites of his, but tbh I spun the Dancehall Doctors album pretty heavily.

I knew I was going to rank it way higher than anybody else, but "Right Back Atcha Babe" has been a real guilty pleasure of mine ever since it was announced as a single. I'm not even sure why it was chosen because it doesn't scream single at all to me, just a nice album track with a cool groove. My liking for it may have also been helped greatly by the concurrent release of the "Truck Yeah" abomination... I mean, I'm glad he finally got rid of Curb, but I needed something from Tim at the time that I could actually stand.

Hmm... well, I guess I should've ranked "Lovin' Lately" higher; I actually liked that song, mostly for Tim's part. Emotional Traffic (the album) was a disaster to me, with the exception of BTIUTB.

I'm not bothered by any of the rankings so far other than "Top of the World." I'm surprised that one wasn't better-liked.

I think it's about time for us to highlight the album tracks that landed in 10th place! We have a 2 way tie, so I will post both of them as soon as I am done typing them up.

I'm a bit surprised "Lovin' Lately" ranked so low. That was bright spot in the mediocrity that is Big & Rich these days and Tim McGraw totally carries the chorus of that song. I guess considering how much great solo material he has though, it's not that shocking.

So I didn't submit for the album tracks since I'm only familiar with one of his studio albums which is Two Lanes of Freedom. I own the accelerated deluxe edition so I have "Annie I Owe You a Dance" on my computer and iPod but I completely forgot how good this song was!

I love "Portland, Maine". It was close to making my album track list.

If we'd been able to pick up to 20 album tracks, "Portland, Maine" probably would've made my list. He's just got too many good album cuts that narrowing it down to 10 was so hard.

Emotional Traffic definitely isn't his best, however how can you NOT love "The One That Got Away" and the amazing "One Part, Two Part" <3

Wow, I thought "Some Things Never Change" and especially "All I Want Is A Life" would do much better than this. These are the only two eliminations so far that have truly surprised me.

Now I know why I don't hear "All I Want is a Life" on the radio anymore; made me lose a top 15 in the process *facepalm*. I knew this was gonna happen. Thanks for making me an outlier guys; really appreciate it. As a double whammy, I got called in to work tomorrow morning. STNC is alright; not on of my go-to songs, but it ain't half-bad. Not as memorable as his other hits, though. "Drugs or Jesus"...I probably should've ranked it and STNC higher because it still feels pretty early for these to be leaving so soon. I actually enjoy most of the songs I ranked in my top 50, so I can't really complain too much. I'm starting to get worried that my chosen album tracks won't get showcased here, even though they just got started.

I absolutely love all three songs that were eliminated today. "All I Want Is A Life" was always a favorite. I do love other songs on that album more and will agree that this is the weakest single but that is just because his third album had so many great songs. "Some Things Never Change" is one that I always loved but was shocked when it was announced as a single. There were other songs from A Place In The Sun that I think deserved to be a single more however I do really like this one and was glad it did so well on radio for him. "Drugs or Jesus" I knew wouldn't last long but I still love it, his performance on it gives me chills.
There are at least 10 songs that deserved to go before these 3 including "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me" and "Bring On The Rain" since he more or less sings background on them both so for him I just don't think they should stick around long. However did want to say that "Bring On The Rain" is not the only track that he sings background on for Jo Dee. One of the songs from her debut album included him as well.

Guess what!!!! Our next elimination is going to see our first top 10 losses! 2 people will lose a top 10! And those 2 people might be tickled to find out that they are losing top 5s as well...

"Drugs Or Jesus" is out way too soon! I've always thought it was a great song, but it isn't the most radio friendly song and probably wasn't a great choice for a single. "Blank Sheet Of Paper", "Can't Tell Me Nothing", "Somethings Broken", "Old Town New", "How Bad Do You Want It" and Everybody Hates Me" are all great songs and would have performed much better on the charts.

I like the first half of "Do You Want Fries with That" but that second verse is absolutely atrocious to me. The first verse and the chorus are really hard-hitting lyrically, but then the second verse ruins the song. Something about the way the way it's written and Tim's delivery in the song, is too crude and sadistic to me for me to find the enjoyment in it. The song is setup to be kind of dark/depressing in the first half so the (attempted) humor in the second half doesn't work for me. It feels too disjointed to me.
