"Do You Want Fries With That" is my favorite Tim McGraw song ever, the only reason I didn't rank it number one is because I knew it had no chance. I mean, I love funny songs like this. When a song is obviously a little far fetched/exaggerated, yet somehow seems realistic and honest that's just like a hard to find medium. I think this song finds that medium ground so well.
p.s. I may also love the song "If French Fries Were Fat Free" by Alan Jackson, so maybe I just like songs that mention fries.

There are at least 10 songs that deserved to go before these 3 including "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me" and "Bring On The Rain" since he more or less sings background on them both so for him I just don't think they should stick around long. However did want to say that "Bring On The Rain" is not the only track that he sings background on for Jo Dee. One of the songs from her debut album included him as well. I couldn't agree more! "Bring On The Rain" is a Jo Dee Messina song and "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me" is a Faith Hill song, all Tim does is provide a few background vocals. I was really hoping they would be among the first songs eliminated. I can understand ranking the songs high in a Faith Hill or Jo Dee Messina rankdown but not in a Tim McGraw rankdown.

I like the first half of "Do You Want Fries with That" but that second verse is absolutely atrocious to me. The first verse and the chorus are really hard-hitting lyrically, but then the second verse ruins the song. Something about the way the way it's written and Tim's delivery in the song, is too crude and sadistic to me for me to find the enjoyment in it. The song is setup to be kind of dark/depressing in the first half so the (attempted) humor in the second half doesn't works for me. It feels too disjointed to me. Now that you mention it, dark themes being combined with humor is my favorite kind of humor. That may be weird, but you just explained why I love the song so much better than I could have myself. So that's exactly why I love it and the reason you don't.

Hey guys, let's get rid of a long overdue collaboration! (Which takes another top 10 ranking down with it)

Also, the line between sadness and humor is often just how one sees it in a song like this. If you come at it knowing the title is a goofy one and the song isn't serious in nature, it's quite funny.

Ughhhh wtf, "Me and Tennessee" is one of the best collaborations in this RD. >:(
Also, I'm still disappointed the Gwyneth Paltrow country album never happened. :'(

Although I ranked it low, I don't really mind "Do You Want Fries With That"; it's more of a take-it-or-leave-it scenario for me...and of course, he has so much better songs that have yet to be revealed.
However, I never really cared for "Me & Tennessee"; always felt bland and massively underwhelming to me.

I see zero justification why "people should stick to their day jobs" applies here. I suppose then Timmy shouldn't have been in Country Strong then, because he wasn't sticking to his "day job"?

What I meant by 'stick to your day job' was that albums/singing takes more commitment than acting.

Was so hard not to include "Don't Make Me Feel at Home". If I didn't cherish the Wesley Dennis version so much I may have. It's a beautiful song, but it's hard for any version to sound as good as his.

But man what a killer melody and this is one of those few times where I legit impresed with Tim's vocals. Also, I always forget that "All I Want" is a Tim McGraw song. That would have also been in my top 10, for sure. I've always loved it.

"Some Things Never Change" deserved better :'( Anyways, my thoughts on these 5 eliminations:
60. All I Want Is a Life I'm not too big of a fan of Tim's uptempos in general compared to his mid-tempos or slower tracks. There are exceptions like "Something Like That", of course. Tim's vocal abilities aren't the best, and I think it really shows in his uptempos for some reason. When he pulls them off his uptempos are really good, but in general I think he does mid-tempos and slower tracks better. It also doesn't help that I generally am not too big of a fan of how Tim sounds in his first three albums...
59. Some Things Never Change I definitely get how this can be forgotten because everything he released around this time were much bigger hits than this one. That being said, I think this placement is too low for this song. Deserved at least top 50.
58. Drugs or Jesus The first line of the chorus (the "everybody wants to get high" line) just doesn't sit well with me for some reason. I feel like I shouldn't be bothered by this line this much but... Also, I don't really like the music video either (which doesn't really have to do anything with where I ranked the song) but is there any reason why the music video was done that way?
57. Do You Want Fries with That This also suffers from me liking Tim's uptempos less than his other outputs.
56. Me and Tennessee Gwyneth has a decent voice (I've heard her sing on Glee before but I wasn't familiar with Country Strong at all) and overall the song is pleasant. I feel like the production sometimes overshadows Tim and Gwyneth's voice in the chorus, and small things like that can greatly affect my rankings in a rankdown like this where there are a lot of good songs.

I absolutely love "Kill Myself". The lyrics and production are great and I love the way Tim sings it, it's one of my favorite vocals from him.

Yesssss bye Drugs or Jesus and Do You Want Fries With That. Don't care for either of these. Me and Tennessee is the only real loss tonigh You're dead to me Zack. :) I love "Do You Want Fries With That." It's harmless. Great melody and instrumentation and the lyrics are quirky to me, which I enjoy. I know why it gets hate but I don't care.

At this point, only 4 albums still have all of their singles intact (not counting new releases from hits collections)! They are Not A Moment Too Soon, Everywhere, Set This Circus Down, and Southern Voice.
One of them is going to lose its first song next...

I'm surprised Southern Voice has yet to lose anything while A Place in the Sun or Dancehall Doctors have lost something.

Whoa what. I didn't realize so many people didn't like "Watch the Wind Blow By". It's such a smooth track.
And how is Southern Voice still intact? I would not be sad to see any of the singles from that album go away right now.

Hi guys. Sorry it has been a quiet couple of days. I drove back home yesterday, because I have a big weekend of concerts coming up! Tonight we'll be seeing Terri Clark, and then tomorrow LeAnn Rimes is performing for free at a festival nearby! So I may not be on here much this weekend :) I'll still try to keep some momentum going with this whenever I can though!
