I can understand why Rih can't be bothered to release an album, artists don't make $$$ releasing music especially when you have to pay people to write, produce, and arrange your music. Plus music videos etc;. She's printing money with her Fenty line

Financially, she doesnt need an album. But at such a point in one person's career when money doesn't matter it should matter more how people look at you
She's established herself as a business woman but still tries to show interest in making music and her fans who originated from that
Releasing an album is an image thing at this point also it'd be crazy for her business, a woman doing so many different things successfully still being able to make smashing singles and albums
Her peak is yet to come, I believe.

Rihanna responds to Shaggy mess.
Shaggy approached her after the album was finished & was getting mixed and mastered. Rihanna allegedly told him to "send in stuff" to see if she could work him into any one of her FINISHED tracks. My guess is that this crushed his ego and shallow masculinity lol.
Anyway good news is the ALBUM IS PRACTICALLY DONE!
