I remember when ANTI was surprise released... I couldn't believe it was a free download at the time, I went to go to school and started the album, Consideration's beat starts and bum her voice and a big smile runs over my face

I also got high for the first time shortly after and dedicated my experience to this album
There are so many career highlights on this, the album is super diverse and well crafted
The ones I return to most nowadays are Desperado, Same Ol Mistakes and Needed Me but this whole album is fantastic

In the U.S, yes. It’s a peculiar case.

Nonetheless, her album peaks and overall stats. WW are fantastic.

For example, she’s the biggest selling international Female albums artist in the U.K this century, surpassing P!nk. “GGGB” and “LOUD” are 6x platinum and 7x platinum platinum there, respectively, which is humongous and only P!nk has sold more albums across Europe as a whole.

As a whole, the Female artists that have sold more [pure] studio albums worldwide than Rihanna this century, and only for those who debuted post-2000 are: Adele, Taylor Swift, Norah Jones and P!nk.

She’s more or less on par with Beyonce (surprisingly) etc. and ahead of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry etc.

Also 'Work' is at 8 x Platinum. Still hasn't reached 9xP. Those numbers from Billboard include UGC. UGC was removed Sep 2020, but for previous months/years it is included.

I know a lot of you want new music desperately, but not this desperately.

I had a bit of Spotify data lying around (from a random date). 14-Oct-2019

So here are the most streamed Rihanna songs/albums in the last 15 & 1/2 months.

For songs i only included those that gained more than 1M. But i added every track from her albums (even those below 1M gains).

Maybe this will be a surprise to some people in this thread (not me ): 'Good Girl Gone Bad' is her most popular album (the album that catapulted her to worldwide stardom), it is doing better than her most recent release 'ANTI'. Of course down the line that will be remembered as her most iconic album. ANTI/ Loud & Unapologetic are doing great aswell (i put ANTI in this group because it's number are inflated because it is the most recent release, and all the others have stood the test of time).

btw GGGB is the 5th most streamed album of the 00s. Impressive feat.

In the songs department, the singles that have the biggest potential to turn into popular legacy songs (in the future, some already ahve tbf) are:

- Umbrella - it is the 62nd most streamed song of the 00s. It will probably be the song that has the best longevity.

- We Found Love/ Stay / Diamonds/ Love On The Brain are next in line after Umbrella. (Again recency bias for ANTI).

- Don't Stop The Music/ Take A Bow/ S&M/ Needed Me are not that far behind either.

omg if you add up all the other brands (including Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin, Kim Kardashian West Beauty, Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty, + more) it barely adds up to Fenty Beauty by itself & falls short of Fenty Beauty + Fenty Skin.
