Her vocals on Unfaithful are terrible. I was stunned at how bad she sounded. It was #1 for 10 Weeks where I lived and one of the worst hits of 2006.
Needed Me is possibly her best single ever.

I don't know if it's cause that girl is quite short or Rih quite tall - probably it's both - but the sight of them together side by side made me lol. I loved them laughing together, they looked like they were having a good time. What else I loved? Rih's hearty cackle when R9 was mentioned. Bitch!! 😂
Her reaction when that girl singled out "Unfaithful"... LMAO! It's a good song but if there's one thing that should've been re-recorded by now that's "Unfaithful" definitely.
I adore "Diamonds" it's my all time favorite single by her, so I'm glad she cited it as a favorite.
"Needed Me" is, behind Kelly Rowland's "Motivation," IMO, the second most overrated single of the 2010s in urban music. I don't get the appeal of that borefest. Never have.

Yeah...Needed Me is not even noteworthy in her catalog, let alone one of her best singles. Seems Rihanna has as much taste when it comes to her own music as Mariah, LOL.

"Unfaithful" is actually one of my faves from her and is definitely one of the standout tracks from her second album.
"Needed Me" is a bop. "Diamonds" is okay. I like it much better than "Stay".

What she's doing for pregnant women is amazing. She's proving the world that pregnant women can be hot and sexy. I'm sure many women will be more confident after seeing Riri slaying pregnancy.

I just randomly wanna say how insane it is that Jay Z originally signed major cultural influences like Kanye and Rihanna and initiated a spiral effect that eventually made them billionaires alongside Jay himself. And these weren’t just regular stars that just exist, i consider both artists to be mega legacy superstars that shifted and reinvented the sound of music today. The businesses they each own (or used to own) and how its all still relevant today is also crazy. Also the everlasting hype for their upcoming projects are always in the media although I think Riri’s hype is a lot more universal compared to Ye’s because despite him delaying or messing up each of his project rollouts, he does obviously drop more than her (in fact he’s dropped about 5 or 6* albums since the release of Anti).
