I'm surprised it made it this far, to be honest...

I sometimes forget that Shake That is an Eminem song, let alone that he's the lead artist.

Space Bound and Survival are both awesome songs! Recovery is such a great album front-to-back. MMLP2 was also quality. I also loved the rock sound of Survival.

Wow I thought that this was a top 10 lock.
How did Superman make the top 20?

30. Business - This one's a classic. Deserved way better.
29. Detroit vs. Everybody - Hey, I got this position right. I'm also surprised it had a high SD, as I didn't think anyone would feel that strongly about it one way or the other.
28. Encore - One of the better tracks on the album by the same name. Deserved a little better, but I'm not losing sleep over it.
27. I'm Back - Another classic gone way too soon.
26. Just Don't Give A... - This song is a bit overrated in some circles, but it still deserved better on here. I probably should have put it in the top 20.
25. Shake That - Nate Dogg saves this from being as bad as some other songs from this era, but it still lasted too long on here.
24. Role Model - Same thoughts as "Business" and "I'm Back". Not enough love for his early stuff here.
23. Survival - This isn't as classic as some of the other songs in this batch, but it's really catchy and solid lyrically. Should have at least made top 20.
22. Space Bound - This one, I'm not sad to see gone. It never clicked with me.
21. Berzerk - This one's fairly close to where it belongs, though it did crack my top 20. Catchy and fun, with great production from Rick Rubin, but it's a bit lightweight lyrically and I have to be in the mood to listen to it.
Not that thrilled with how this is turning out so far. At least there's no real stinkers in the top 20, but there's definitely a few mediocre ones that shouldn't have outranked the classics from his first 3 albums. I would've expected "Superman" to be the first elimination from that era if anything.

I've noticed something.
On the other hand...
I think that says enough.

I'm stunned that "Role Model" didn't make the top 20. Stunned. I figured that JDGAF would get the shaft, but I thought "Role Model" was a shoo-in for top 20, at worst.
Man.

Another coincidence. On another rankdown (2015 R&B/Hip Hop), song #65 was my lowest ranked song (#100) and gravey's 2nd lowest (#99), one spot up from me. Now on this rankdown, this song is my lowest ranked (#45) and also gravey's 2nd lowest (#44).

Finally JDGAF is gone. It's really the only song in this rankdown I truly despise. It's just... bad.
Space Bound is out too early. It's fantastic. Also sad to see Shake That gone so soon too. I'm surprised Berzerk made it this far.
I'm also surprised at some songs that made the top 20. Superman, for starters. While I enjoy the song myself I thought it wouldn't be well liked overall. The Way I Am, Guilty Conscience, and Headlights also all surprise me because I expected them to join the "forgettable" Eminem song purge, though I'm pleasantly surprised with Guilty Conscience. Other than that, I expected all of those to make top 20. I am surprised that No Love outlasted Space Bound, though.
The Monster can leave now, k thnx!

I mean, unless you're really into rap or Eminem or you grew up when it was popular, you probably don't know that song. It's definitely one of his more forgotten hits.
