I love love "I Don't Know", when I heard the full version yesterday, I think I played it about fifteen times. Such a great one, the sample is flawless too.

I love love "I Don't Know", when I heard the full version yesterday, I think I played it about fifteen times. Such a great one, the sample is flawless too. Same. I appreciate Kwamé's not going for the obvious and finding another old school soul record to flip. I hope Urban AC receives it with open arms; she deserves another top-10 hit! |

I appreciated Vivid cause we got a more mainstream sound from her.
Everything I’ve been hearing so far seems like even more of that same sound but with polished production. I can’t wait, it all sounds so crisp so far.

I love that she's not keeping herself in the safe zone of UAC-oriented ballads like her cohorts. I can definitely see myself enjoying it for a really long time just like Vivian and Vivid. The duet with Musiq Soulchild is totally pointless, though. I still prefer her solo version.

The good news: I Don't Know is up to #15 on Adult R&B/Urban AC.
The not-so-good news: The only chart VGVI made it on was R&B/Hip-Hop Album *Sales* at #39 but the sales were less than 1,300. Vivid debuted at #10 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #23 on Independent with 1,900 first week and has sold 64k to date.

Most likely because it can be cheaply produced for her. I believe $9.99 for an album is better than $1.29 for a song with an independent artist. Profit is much higher without any major heads in the mix |

Second single is still between Vibes or Promise. I believe Vibes is Vivian’s personal choice but Promise has had better streams/downloads.
