Spidey Probst: Welcome back to Tribal Council. Tonight, the Maré tribe will lose another member. Let's get started. Spidey Probst: How has the game changed now that the two tribes have merged? Is it still Lifou vs. Maré?Brett ( Dylan :)): "I think it is, and I also find it a lot scarier seeing me coming last rather than first due to our scores combining.." Jane ( Kanenrá:ke): "Merge usually means a big change. However I feel like the original Lifou are going to stick together." Sarah ( SHOOTER): "Considering Maré's outnumbered, it definitely still feels like a Lifou vs. Maré atmosphere for now." Twila ( Leo ✔): "It changed a lot. Now you have to think in you and only you and what is the best for your game. We are going to discover if it is." Todd ( ry4n): "Yes. I mean, maybe Lifou got lucky with the removals, but we have a pretty good lead here so why blow it? I'm not interested in becoming another Galu or Timbira. " Spidey Probst: Now that the Jury is beginning to form, is it time to start making big moves?Jane ( Kanenrá:ke): "Possibly, big moves are impressive to pull off but they can also be very risky. I'm personally thinking it's not quite time yet for any big moves." Yul ( Leaf): "My main focus now is maintaining my connections and giving the challenges my all but that's something to consider too." Todd ( ry4n): "It's time to start making the right moves. Small moves and non-moves can be just as effective as big moves. It depends on what your position in the game is. If you're in a bad spot, you have to do something to turn things work in favour. But if you're in a good spot, why shake things up?" Kelley ( matteeeb): "Yeah, and im hoping one will happen tonight." Francesca ( irice22): "Anyone's goal at this point should be to get to the end." I think somebody who can do whatever he wants and get through with it is a big threat." Francesca ( irice22): "They're all threats, but I have a feeling the jury won't vote the nicest person." You can get rid of challenge beasts as soon as they lose one and strategic masterminds might be hated by the jury at the end. Social threats can steal the win at the last second. Michele Fitzgerald proved it can still happen in modern Survivor." Sarah ( SHOOTER): "The stronger you are at challenges, the further ahead you'll get on your own merits but the bigger the target is on your back; being able to manipulate people can help when it comes time to vote someone off but people will remember who screwed them over; but if you can manage to harness some of those characteristics while still being social, then the jury is probably most likely to have a favorable opinion of you should you make it to the end." Open Deliberation Spidey Probst: We have a tie between Jane (Kanenrá:ke) and Yul (Leaf). We will now have an open deliberation to determine who goes home. Here's how it will work:From this point on and until a castaway has been eliminated - you are not permitted to talk in private messages. All discussion must occur in the main thread. You will discuss who should go home between Jane ( Kanenrá:ke) and Yul ( Leaf). The decision must be unanimous. If a unanimous decision cannot be reached, Jane ( Kanenrá:ke) and Yul ( Leaf) will be safe, as will Francesca ( irice22) and Sarah ( SHOOTER) - who both have Immunity. The rest of the tribe will draw rocks and one of you will be randomly eliminated, becoming the first member of the Jury. If people on both sides know that they will 100% not change their mind, we can go straight to the rock draw without any need for further deliberation. Spidey Probst: Before we get to the deliberation, I have another option to present to you:This unprecedented tie was caused by Nick ( nick64)'s penalty vote, his second of the season. You will have the option to eliminate him instead. If everyone on the tribe decides they would like to see him go over Jane ( Kanenrá:ke) or Yul ( Leaf), Nick ( nick64) will be voted out and sent to the jury. If you cannot reach a unanimous decision between Jane ( Kanenrá:ke, Yul ( Leaf), and Nick ( nick64), we will go to a rock draw. You have a maximum of four hours to deliberate. |

That's impossible because who would vote himself out Jane ( Kanenrá:ke) and Yul ( Leaf) are not participating in this discussion. Their fate is now in the hands of the rest of the contestants. If everyone reaches a consensus between either of them, one of them goes home. Nick ( nick64) is also in the mix. If everyone, but him, decides to send him home - he will be eliminated. |

Oh boy. I don't think any of us want to go to rocks. It's in 1 in 7 shot of going out. However, our side has the better odds with Irice and Shooter being Immune. It's really just me and Normusic who are in danger (Nick's in danger anyway).
I'm leaning more towards keeping my vote where it is unless everyone else on my side wants to switch.
