Nominated for EOTY and Female Artist of the Year at the ACMs this year. Let’s see if they’ll get it right... Not very optimistic, but with Jason and Garth out and considering the backlash from the CMAs, I do think Eric or Carrie will win. Wouldn’t be shocked with either Luke winning, though. The only surprise would be Thomas, imo.

Us Carrie fans always seem to find some hopeful reasoning (other than the fact that she completely deserves it) for her to get the win, but it never ends up that way. I’m going into it expecting a loss. Would love to be surprised.

Us Carrie fans always seem to find some hopeful reasoning (other than the fact that she completely deserves it) for her to get the win, but it never ends up that way. I’m going into it expecting a loss. Would love to be surprised. Trust me, after the utter heartbreak at the CMAs, I'm not holding out for anything; and at least Carrie has two of these to her name. What hurts the most, for me at least, was the fact that it was only Carrie's second nomination ever with no wins at the CMAs. It seemed written in the stars for Carrie with her hosting with Reba and Dolly and the theme being a "girl's night"; not to mention having the stats to back it up. For this one, a win would be nice considering it would be her first industry-voted EOTY, but I really think this is Eric's to lose as he was also snubbed at the CMAs and currently has zero EOTY trophies to his name. He also has the stats to back it up, so I think he'll emerge as the favorite to win. ... But I kind of have a hunch we'll hear Luke Combs' name called at the end of the night, which would suck for Eric and Carrie, but wouldn't surprise me in the least given his absolutely massive year. Although new, it's hard to argue that he doesn't at least deserve the nomination. Again, I honestly don't think Carrie will win - but this should be between Carrie and Eric and I'm hoping it turns out that way.

CMA EOTY—-Garth
ACM—-not even nominated—don’t add up
It’ll be either Carrie or Luke with Luke taking it, of course.

2021 GRAMMY for Best Spoken Word Album 😢 In all seriousness, can it be eligible for that? We need some new Grammy wins 😩 Yes it can. March 2020 is well within the eligibility period for the 2021 Grammys, which if I'm not mistaken runs from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020.

Y’all. It’s a fitness book. Please don’t pull the Carrie stan card of saying it “got snubbed” when it...doesn’t get nominated.

Forever sad about “Oklahoma Wind”’s fate. I know she’s said she won’t release it, but I’m thinking it will be recorded when all is said and done at some point in her career. She has to have some awareness of her fan’s reception to that song. And it has not been given to another artist as far as we know.

Sometimes when I feel slightly desperate, I absolutely listen to the “Oklahoma Wind” SoundCloud file.

She’ll be on all 3 main hours of the Today Show on 3/3. 7-9am, 9-10am, and 10-11am.
Later in the week, she’s set to be the lead interview on Fallon on 3/6. No musical performance. (Lauv is scheduled to perform on the episode.)

That excellent promotion nearly rivals that of the Cry Pretty album release.

LOL how do I know? but OK. I haven't seen Stephen post in a while and you never know! It’s a different name. And I’m a woman. Two things I can clearly see. For Pulse history sake, there is a transgender female poster who used to go by a traditional male name a long time ago, so I honestly did not know if that was what happened here. My bad.

I understand that reasoning completely—and absolutely, unequivocally support transgender rights—but it’s pretty disheartening to hear that my profile photo suggests that I could appear to have once been male. I’m going to have to think on this a bit. 😂😂 Back to Carrie Underwood, I guess. 🤣

Great interview. I like when Carrie does these extended talks. I always find out something about her that I didn’t know before.

I wish she’d do more magazine features. Some of her greatest photos come from those shoots. Elle 2008? My gay awakening.
